    I saw a YouTuber smart home solver, https://youtu.be/LEkHoEwVyVw , using one of these with home assistant/ via his desktop to control lights/blinds etc

      I have one set up for work:
      * Bring current video call into focus and mute/unmute (for when i'm not paying that close attention)
      * Office Lights
      * Lock PC
      * Open Calendar Overlay (if I'm on a phone call I can just hit one button to show my calendar)
      * Linux has a bug where it lowers my microphone volume so I have a button to fix that
      * I have a button that takes in text in my clipboard and turns it into a mocking spongebob meme
      * Screenshot selector
      * Kill Plasma (KDE bug for me)

      I was doing most of these things with keyboard shortcuts before, but for the 150 I paid for mine, is definitely productive.

        Passed through into Citrix I have a page of contact groups that I use for projects and setting up meetings, I have a page that adds time in 30min blocks to the project I am working on, I have some for apps that I forget the shortcut too as I don’t use them much, things like snipping tool, or always on top etc, but my favourite is my username and password for my test account. I have to sign into a test machine about 100 times a day and I just hit that button.
        When I’m using it for home use it’s mainly just shortcuts for games and smart home, but the button I use the most (also have this on Touch Bar on my laptop) is a button that simply adds my email address. I wish every keyboard had this button.

      • How well does this integrate with the Microsoft product. And also Windows generally?

        Thinking of one mainly to control teams meetings mute/unmute, end call etc?

        I paid for the touch portal app and it's stopped work and was having trouble with permissions on my SoE work laptop. Was also overly complex for what I wanted

        • Integerates with Teams well. Set it as a profile that triggers when Teams is your active app and you can do what you're thinking to do. you just need to enter your api key when you set the shortcuts. Use it for that as well.

      • It is a great little device. The folder feature is great, since from the first page I have direct access to 14 different projects, in my case. I bought first the Corsair Nexus, which it was rubbish, but this device actually work really good. I pay the same price about 6 months ago for the Mk I version of it. The software behind it is also good. The only thing I really would like is an easy way to change the colour of the icons.

        The Microsoft Teams integration works well too.

    • Great share. Although the tin foil hats will disapprove!

    For a split second I thought this was a Steam Deck and nearly bought 20.
