Seems like a pretty good deal considering they're around $90 at AU stores. Can't comment on quality, but reviews seem good.

TradeTools sell a 1/4" Torque Wrench for $35, don't see this as a deal.

I moved away from click torque wrenches, I find the digital attachment ones are way more accurate (also on reviews)

Hey Lucas, any recommendations on some good ones or some good brand? I know Snap-On, but the price is too high. I need to rebuild and engine.

Norbar are a very good brand to torque wrenches. Not digital but very accurate, and always make sure to reset them to 0 when finished using.

        • norbar state that reset to "0" is not really necessary…

          • @FarQ: Probably better for longevity so it’s not on constant strain

          • @FarQ: Lol. That "test" is far from definitive and irrelevant to a part time user.

        • I had read it’s better to reset to lowest setting of torque wrench and not actually zero?

          • @Psygnosis: Actually you're right psy just had a look, 0 isn't recommended as it can hurt calibration. Good to know I was completely wrong thanks!

        • Norbar are fantastic torque wrenches. Just so you know Cletus, Norbar now have a digital wrenches; the ProTronic range (a benefit from Snap-on now owning Norbar).

Note: Wurth torque wrenches are made by Norbar. So are Sykes Pickavant wrenches

      • hey mate, sorry I just saw this, I got the cheapest one on amazon… have a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_PAdbNHzRw&t=647s

this is the one I got, used it a few times and it's really easy to use.. you just need to check how to change to ft/lb as it comes in nm from stock, it's in the manual. and of course you need to have a wrench to use it… https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08NBC6VCY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_…

This is a lot cheaper than the Norbar one i use for work.

Draper back in the day had reasonable quality stuff, not so sure on the current products especially their cheaper non expert range.

My old man still has some draper tools in the farm workshop that must be over 40yrs old and still going strong !
