[VIC] 20% off Tickets to Monet & Friends at THE LUME (South Wharf, Melbourne) + $4 Fee @ Ticketmaster

80

Weekdays are cheaper than weekends. Each cycle goes for 45mins, some strange modern abstract works thrown in there, so not all Monet. Not enough Monet imo, but still pretty good. Only one ad when we went. We stayed for 2 cycles - you want to stay for 3 cycles if taking photos/videos. Felt we should have gone earlier to spend a full afternoon here, to also read the notes in the gallery and have a sketch. Had tea at the cafe, second row seats. - First row is $$ for VIP. Best spot to view the show is on the ground or from above, not the cafe in the corner.

Weekend:
Adult - $43.20 each
Child (Youth 4-15 Years) - $35.20 each

Weekday:
Adult $35.20 each
Child (Youth 4-15 Years) - $28.80 each

Booking fee $4

    Weekday tickets cost less Monet

    • They also painted occasionally.

  • Van Gogh was better.
    This one is dull.

    • Oh should have mentioned, my friend hated it as she hates classical music lol.

What was van gogh like? What kinda music did they play?

      • I enjoyed the Van Gogh exhibit very much! Sat in the final room for like 2 hours and talked. The music wasn't very prominent, just white noise really

You didn't have to. It's about your friend and tells nothing about the exhibition.

Won't somebody think of the correlations

I thought the Van Gogh one was terrible. Ridiculous waste of money with kids running around everywhere and influencers taking photos at their nauseating best. A Monet gallery, without a single Monet painting in sight. Nope.

    • Sounds like a 100% gimmick for kids (and infuencers).

Did you expect to see an actual Van Gogh or Monet? I wouldn't have:

THE LUME Melbourne is an epic adventure into art. Australia’s and the Southern hemisphere’s first permanent digital art experience transforms the world’s finest masterpieces into fully immersive sensory encounters.

  • I went to Van Gough and thought it was excellent for what it was - definitely not an art gallery, of course.

I won't go to this just because of their $4 BS fee.
