    These OLED deals are wild

  • +2

I was waiting for a good deal on the 65. Pity no delivery to Perth.

    • +2

Try to price match it elsewhere. You still have time. Offer ends tonight. When we post offers here, price matching it's also an option.

      • +1

Not sure why you're getting negged. But generally stores won't match a coupon offer, still worth trying tbh.

      • Don't know whether you can price match bing lee in Perth given they don't ship here

        • +2

Try JB hifi online chat. Usually people are more successful to pricematch online

          • +2

@Scrooge McDeal: No luck. They said as WA can't match - worth a try though thanks :)

  • How about the TV for living room (30㎡)?

  • -2

The Costco deal from last Thursday was kinda set the benchmark @ $1,749.97 for the 65"

    • +4

But no one ever confirmed if they even got it, maybe it was pricing error.

  • Thoughts on this tv vs the c2? Will be used primarily for gaming on a ps5/series X

    • +2

Go for C2 if gaming is your main use

This one is good for movies

      • +1

That's what my gut is saying. Been waiting for a c2 deal to drop, guess I'll have to wait a little longer 👍

        • +2

C2 55inch was almost half price at JB's about 3 weeks ago. Got one for $1700. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks, it may come back. Good luck

      • Sony is infamous for not playing a lot of movies off USB if that is your thing.

    • +2

Both are beautiful and I don't think you can go wrong with either. If watching movies and could get at a discount, I would go with the Sony (and see if I could get it calibrated professionally) but the LG is a great all rounder and if the price was the same I would go for their TV.

One problem with C2 and the previous models before is they have low brightness in SDR in game mode. Sony is brighter. With HDR LG is brighter. Ive also found theres less blur in motion with LG. So if you are mainly gaming HDR then definitely LG. If mainly gaming in SDR with some movies then probably Sony.

    83 inch a90 for 5k

  • What are Bing Lee like dealing with warranty? Looks like there is only a distribution Centre in Brisbane and no actual stores.

  • What is Sony's warranty like? Was looking at Samsung but their customer service/warranty seems really bad going by the reviews.

    • +1

Imo Samsung and Sony repair/service is both just as rubbish as each other

  • I got the A80J deal on the 55" over a week ago. Still waiting on mine to arrive, wondering about the A80K and return the A80J?

    • From JB? Why the long wait?

      • From Sony eBay store. Not really sure why, Sony blames the carriers, the carriers blame Sony. Something to do with the consignment getting handed on to another company…it's been a long week trying to get to the bottom of it. It only has to travel about 100kms and its been 11 days since ordering :/

    • +1

Why? The A80J is brighter, has better sound and cheaper.

      • Really? I’ve not done a comparison, just assumed the newer model would be better.

      • For the 55 and 65 inch theres basically no difference between the two models. With 77 inch A80J its noticeably better than A80K. As it has the newer panel with higher brightness and Sony nerfed the A80K a little.

Paid $3.5k for a cs 77 today from jb

Sony? OLED? No.. thank.. you.. merges into hedge like the Homer meme

    • +1

      Because??

    • +1

      What’s wrong with Sony’s OLED?

    • +8

Stay in the hedge and enjoy ur Hisense plz

  • Damn that’s cheap for a Sony OLED.

  • Did anyone end up getting extended warranty with your TV ?

    • +1

extended warranty is a scam, people should know that by now

  • Anyone else get an email from BL about delivery being delayed?
