Very limited quantities available in store according to stock check: https://nrby.in/bunnings/0327887

Their web doesn't allow me to C&C, but I rang the store which had 2 in stock and they were able to put one aside for me to pick up.

great deal, available with delivery too.

    • It has always been $199. I've got a picture from 11/02 with that price tag. Not sure where you got the $399

      • These are clearance, pretty sure I saw it at Bunnings was $399, if I’m wrong the value speaks for itself, the individual (over inflated) rrp is around $259 per drill, the charger is $150, battery $140

They are probably promotion pack for Q1 2023. As I said, I've got a picture dated 11/02 with that price and not clearance - same specs & force, I doubled check.
I actually pulled the trigger based on your initial heads up as I "need" a hammer drill and indeed a good value (i was initially going to spend $1k+ on AEG and get some redemption items but went completely opposite way and bought recently discounted Worx gear at SCA)

          • @ShouldIBuyIt: Fair enough, either way can’t go wrong at that price & 6 year warranty, also 5% off with power pass comes to $189

            • @RogueWolf: Found it, this is the $399 kit you saw - 2 x 4Ah and hard case.
None of us are crazy! Ha ha

              • @ShouldIBuyIt: lol nah I’ve seen that kit, but maybe as you said it’s a Bunnings/aeg promo $199, who knows where I got $399 😂

                  @RogueWolf: Posted here
I'm surprised there is still stock.
Anyway, thanks for the reminder :-)

@RogueWolf: Be wary of power pass when you want warranty.

By using powerpass you are buying “trade” and warranty becomes 12 months

  • Anyone tried the difference between the compact and the premium hammer drill?

    • The premium one has higher torque and higher rpm. This compact one is second cab off the rank, which IMO is more than enough for household use.

      • Thanks,
I might go and have a closer look.

    • For hardened concrete us an SDS machine!

      • Thanks, I do have a corded rotary hammer drill, as well as a standard corded hammer drill…. But I was just hoping for a quick option for drilling into bricks and blocks.

  • Bought one last time. Could probably do with another battery though!

  • Can I use these as a normal drill or better off getting hammer drill for brick and another drill driver for everything else?

You can disable the hammer. This or AEG listed in first comment will do. Actually AEG comes with impact driver - get the AEG

  • Got one, it is ok for soft rock
feels like a toy compared to a Milwaukee.
