Cheapest price according to the camels. Looks like it has been cheaper at other stores, notably Kmart and Target cleared them for $40 and $29 respectively. Would have been nice to get it for $29 but they are unobtainable now so $42.49 will have to do.

Is there a way to integrate to existing sets? Or is this standalone?
Originally I looked into Thomas train stuff as they said it integrates with the wooden Brio stuff we have but they do look different in the video that I've seen. Maybe plastic and wooden sets are completely different? In a youtube review of this the reviewer did mention that you can add stuff to this track but I haven't looked into it.
We have the wooden stuff and these trackmaster sets, I don't see how they integrate, they are completely different connectors. But yeah you can combine trackmaster sets and somewhat custom build them but they are much less versatile than the wooden stuff, they take up a larger footprint because of this. Also our son can build his own timber tracks but he can't build the trackmaster sets at this stage as they require a bit more strength to join.
We recently got him the trackmaster tower for his birthday, the great thing is it's quite a lot of track but in a much smaller footprint because it goes high, means we can leave it setup.
This set is great btw, good find.
Pretty sure one of our thomas sets included an adapter to connect to the wood style tracks.

this set is an absolute beast. my kid loves it, we saw it on one of his favourite youtube shows, diana and roma. its so well made. and compatible with the other thomas sets.

Great set, amazing how Thomas and Percy communicate with each other and stop and go together. The tracks are a bit badly designed and the trains fall off a bit to often. Needs a lot of floor space.
