      • That blonde knew what she was doing

      • Wow!!!! I knew the product from IG but never knew about the story behind it. Thanks for the link!!

I bought the mommy. Started off awesome, then quickly fell apart after a month.

    Haven't yet tested the daddy.

    • I was still going through the multipacks I had bought on sale on amazon in 2021. Some reports did say the new batches didn’t seem as good.

    • +1

In my experience Scrub Daddy don't last as long & Scrub Mommy has been far superior. Seems to hold it's shape for longer. Get a solid 3 months out of them.

    • +1

Mine fell apart too after 1-2 months, I think once you make a cut in it like when you're cleaning knives and stuff it just kills the structure

    • the daddy ones are hard scrub type on both sides which i find lasts longer then the mummy one but mine last longer then a month

  • +13

More foam doesn't equal better cleaning. It just equals more foam.

Foaming soap was invented to make it obvious that it was doing something.

More foam can actually mean less cleaning productivity because there is less soap on the surfaces doing the job.

There's also the scrub daddy 6 pack for a similar price..

Limited-time deal: Scrub Daddy Colours Scrub Pads 6 Pack https://amzn.asia/d/4OiHSoV

Works out to be $3.80 each with s&s

You need both the scrub daddy and mommy to have the foam 😁

I left my scrub mommy and daddy in the drawer. When I went use them a year later the drawer was full of scrub children…boom boom…baby boom I guess…boom boom again

        😂😂😂 Epic

          TLC. 1999.

    • For equality?

      • Looks like you need a lesson on the birds and the bees

  • Is there actually any difference between mummy and daddy besides colour?

    • +2

scrub mummy is 2 sided with a foam sponge on one side and the scrub daddy material on the other.

    • +3

The mummy variant is 2 sponge types glued together. Half of it is the rough dad sponge material and the other half half regular/soft sponge. Normally you'd have to use warm water to get the dad sponge to soften up and behave like a regular sponge and cold water to go back to normal. The mom variant allows you to sort of skip that if you want to wash something quickly.

      • +22

So the daddy is always rough/abrasive and the mummy is two sided, sometimes soft and sometimes rough/abrasive.

        Yeah that seems about accurate.

  • After few months, I just bought the 3M sponge scrubs from Costco. Better.

  • Lord take me now…..

    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

How do you make daddy hard?

      • +3

warm water. cold water doesn't do it.

        • Cold water causes shrinkage

      • +4

        Rub him correctly.

        Who's your daddy?

  • +3

A single sponge for $4. Nice!

  • +2

I liked these! Lasts a lot longer that regular sponge/scourers.
The hot/cold thing is mainly a gimmick to me, but for a sponge this cleans well

  • Love these! I am still using mine from 2021 but will restock. The 6 pack will last me a lifetime.

Most sites I try and get Scrub Mommy from they want age verification and my credit card number.

  • +2

Sorry OP….can you please explain once again how I can make Mommy hard?

  • +5

    Currently $3.75 at reject shop

    • Yep double checked it, you guys have to leave the cave to get the items to clean stuff with.

  • What is this used for?

    • +2

I had the same question. I’m guessing it’s for bathing babies with.

      • no just doing the washing up

  • +6

Nah I’ll pass, still waiting for Scrub Non-binary or Scrub Tranny.

  • bought 2 thanks, current one is a bit worn

  • +1

I had one of each (Scrub Daddy and Mommy).

The Daddy lasted a good year with reasonable use - the pink side of Mommy has frayed and disintegrated within a month of identical use.

  • Who's your Srub Daddy ??..

  • i brought the scrub daddy soap dispenser and it’s really good ..just push your sponge down on top and the right amount of washing up liquid goes on your sponge or if u want to use more u just squeeze it and it comes out the bottom
