To each their own. I can't stand it.

      • Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Microsoft really went cross eyed on this one.

  • +5

This includes the play and charge kit (Li-ion battery and USB-C cable) which is why it's $120 instead of the usual $100 for limited/special editions.

  • Can’t you just make that on the Xbox Design Lab?

Out in time for Earth day

Proceeds to send more plastic into the world

    • +1

Yep, best thing you could do is not buy a new controller.

    • +4

Tbf they did an awful job at saying it's more sustainable but it is.

      What they said

Mixing PCR resins with regrind consisting of previously moulded coloured parts.

      What that means

New Xbox Controller 'Made Partly' [one third] From Reclaimed CDs, Water Jugs, and Other Controller Parts and it comes with the rechargeable battery pack for what I think is the first time (not just the cable).

Plenty more can be done of course but it's a good first step and better environmentally than buying a standard controller.

    • +1

This time it includes free stuff Xbox Rechargeable Battery + USB-C Cable.

      • +6

It's not really free… it's effectively $20 for those extras.

Not going to vote on the deal itself, just clarifying.

      Ugh cringe comment

  • just another xbox controller

  • +1

    Oz Junk RRP.

  • +1

It looks pretty cool, but not at that price. Normal controllers go on special for around half that.A battery and cable aren't worth $50 :D I prefer AAs anyway

  • +1
  • I already have two rechargeable battery packs which I hardly use because I prefer to use my controllers wired.

Can't justify the price, no matter how much I like the look of the controller.
