Saying that, it did only sell so much because of the insane pre-release media hype; Who can honestly deny that the closest their console gets to being switched ON (post Skyward Sword & Mario Galaxy 2) is when you wipe the dust cloth over the top every month or so?

the discount department stores often clear the 'game & wii remote' boxes for a low price eg remote combined with WII PLAY or other low demand games. always well below standard remote price.

I found synching mine had to be done by pressing the buttons on the wii , normal controllers just synch up nice n easy
