    Theres a bunch of referrals on here already. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/hellofresh.com.au keep clicking the Random Referral until you get one you like. The best value first time deal IMHO is the 3 boxes for 4 People (12meals), usually $135, for $10

      How do you get $125 off for the first box? It shows up for me the discount spread over multiple weeks. Can I just cancel before the subsequent weeks arrive?

      The website is a bit confusing for news, I can't cancel my order anywhere after I randomly selected box size etc to try out the website, like I can't clear it to nothing.

        When I click on the randomised discount codes. It has applied some $55 off first ofder code in my basket and for the life of me, I can't work out how to remove it. not sure if it's clashing

            @umoddbro: Managed to do it to my address 4 times, 2 times each using my phone number and two made up email address then same for misso phone number. Then managed to do it twice to my work address using made up phone number and email. Now though appears I can't use it no matter what details I use, made up everything, mates address that has never used the service but they still somehow know, pops up with a message saying new users only, tried most things i can be bothered to do to bypass it like using phone as a hotspot, different computer, different payment methods etc.

            FYI you can just put in a bogus phone number then once they deduct the $10 fee just update it to your normal phone number in your account if you are worried about the delivery person being required to contact you.

            Should clarify the 4 times were split evenly between hellofresh and everyplate who are both the same mob in the backend. Couldn't get either to work for my work address anymore.

          I've also put my address down with an A behind the number eg 10A and it still got delivered to me.

          Hellofresh self referral is probably one of my only uses of the cashback boost sims.

      • was $1 extra per steak, so $10 shipping + $4 extra for 4 steaks. The other "premium" were 3-4$ extra but not steakies for some reason

      Yep $9.99 delivery must be paid and you can skip the following weeks and cancel once your box gets delivered.

        Cheers. Think I got it sorted. $9.99 for the first week (minus $125 from the promo) I've pushed the next two weeks deliveries back and will cancel once the first gets delivered. Hope that's all alright lol.

    Was about to try this for late April so got a whole extra day of emails out of the new deal.

    HelloStale! I got old soft carrots and other food that wasn’t fresh time after time when I tried this years ago. Mostly just pasta and rice dishes and hardly any quality meat.

    Ps please read the previous posts regarding ongoing billing dramas people have experienced over the years when they wanted to cancel.

    Their prawn and salmon are nice. The potion is not large but adequate. Vege is OK but better than Everyplate.

      Yep as easy as that, just make sure to skip the following two weeks to make sure you don't get charged on the cut off date for the next delivery

    Completely new customer/never used before. Been at this address for 5 years as well so unlikely to have been used before.

    Signed up and all good - but received a cancellation email.

    Pretty scammy/shitty of them. Wonder if I should have waited for the payment to go through before skipping the next 2 meal deliveries first.

    Wow new customer and did everything legit but no issues. With all these free boxes and hacks to fool the system it makes you wonder why they dont do phone verifications in creating an account to prevent multiple fake accounts. Seems like a quick way to solve that problem…..anyways I dont care i just want my free box

    • Easy workaround is lumping anything requiring new numbers with those cashreward 30 day Boost sim deals.

  • How does this compare to 40% off, I used to use them awhile back … and for months I never received a box with all the ingredients - sometimes it was the key ingredient such as pasta for a pasta dish. In the end I had cancelled so not sure of their prices now but I keep getting 40% off mail being delivered.

      It depends on when your scheduled delivery is - double check it on Hellofresh deliveries page. If they took the payment its a good sign it’s being processed 👍

  • Received my first order and cancelled subscription immediately.. received an email confirming my cancelling but also stating that I might receive an additional order. I purposely skipped 2 weeks before cancelling to give these charlatans enough "time" to process the cancellation. Skipping two weeks has conveniently disappeared from the record and they forwarded the next delivery to Thursday. Shifty. I might have to notify my credit card company.

    • Unlucky. Did you skip right before cancelling or when you placed the initial order? You need to do it when you place the initial order as their cut off for orders is 1 week

        I've done the same, cancelled after receiving and initially skipped 2 weeks as per instructions.

        The email I received says "We're sorry to see you go!

        Your HelloFresh subscription has been cancelled successfully. You might just have one last box still on its way!"

        BUT this may be the standard text that is used for all cancellations. Did others get the same wording in their cancellation emails?

    Got my box in today, definitely not $135 worth for what you get, 1.2kg of chicken breast, 460g of beef and a few veggies and things, id say you could pick it all up for half of that price..or there abouts.

    But its definitely worth $10!!

    Will cancel it shortly.

      I guess its the convenience where the cost lies - having everything prepared for you portioned with a recipe delivered right to your house

        Part of it yes, theres still a bit of prep involved, i guess its the world we live in today, everyone is probably working more and want more time to do things they enjoy in life, and the less time cooking is probably a chore for most people, plus some people are also getting more and more lazy and throw money at things

    • Yeah, getting a single carrot that turns to rubber in just a couple of days isn't really an encouraging experience. I think the real key is the sauces and flavourings they make or source. If supermarkets sold single use sachets of these cheaply then you could achieve "Hello Fresh" experience a lot cheaper, and probably better because you will get carrots that last weeks instead of just one day.
