Hey guys, been trawling Amazon a fair bit lately and found this gem. Compared to $821 delivered from DWI, not a bad saving I say :)

    I can get it to Victoria.

    Price is 485.37EUR which when converted is actually ~$570.

    For people saying they can't get the price, go through to the last step where VAT is taken off.

  Shipping is fine for me. This is a fantastic price. Will be closer to $570 with my 28 Degrees Card. On par with the SEL18200 but better looking in my opinion. There is also the newly released SEL18200LE from Sony which is a bit smaller and a bit lighter but I have read that the IQ suffers ever so slightly. I think I'm going to have to buy this. I can hear my NEX-7 calling me from my camera bag.

    Hahah good to hear! I'm a canon man myself so unfortunately this lens is no use to me, but I'm glad someone can make use of this deal! I'll try and keep an eye out for more deals like this now I know theres a market for it on ozbargain :)

      It's pretty crazy that is is nearly half the RRP. I've just bought it. Officially my 10th lens too. I may have an issue. I'm blaming people like you, barnetas! :P

  Ahh sorry about that, I should have specified this was for the black version. I haven't tried purchasing the silver. Unfortunately amazon has a strange tendency to mark different colours with different prices, and sometimes they won't ship some colours at all. It's all luck of the draw!

  I saw this the other day. This is a good deal.

  FYI if you're looking for Sony lenses atm, it's rumoured Sony will bring out a compact 35/1.8 and 11-18mm and 16-50mm pancake zooms in September.

  My lens just arrived :D. Haven't had a chance to give it a spin yet but it looks extremely good on my 7 and the build quality is excellent. It's not too heavy and not too light. Can't wait to try it out properly :)

    great to hear! just bought myself a tamron 17-50 lens from amazon.es. Hope I have as good of an experience as you did!
