I see a banner saying 10% off first order up the top of the page too
    And CR 4.9%

    • Can't combine offers sadly. Was worth a shot though.

    • Nope, neither would work.

couldn't be used with your existing discounts. You already have a better combination.

  • As sad as it is to admit this, I've never owned a pair of Volleys. I know they RRP for $50 which should say it all lol, but what's the quality like?

    • +3

Quality has dipped in the last ten years, but they're more than acceptable at $15.

Watch out you don't pull too hard on the loop at the back, it has a habit of just… breaking.

    • +2

Bought one when they first came back maybe 20 years ago or there abouts, they were pretty meh. Comfort was average, not much support, the main problem is that the fabric and sole will separate, especially where it bends around the toes/joints.

    • +2

very uncomfortable shoes. only good version is the steel capped one

      • That 'good version' also comes without the steel-cap toe,
and it's an awesome version, because it's sturdy, grippy and with ankle support.

    • -1

Its too late. Volleys aint volleys no more. I spent a couple years buying old stock after dunlop sold off the brand. the new manufacturer cheaped out on materials. The soles are weird and super heavy.

    $31.35 after cashback…nice work OP

  • +2

    Lol $16.225

    • +6

$8.1125 for each shoe essentially. Bargain.

      • That's $1.6225 per toe

  • +3

I don't know why I bother trying to order shoes online cos I never get the size right. Must be time to restock the local op shop. Here I go again.

      • The default appears to be Women’s US. If you tap the down arrow beside “Select Size: US”, you can select Women’s/Men’s UK/US sizes to be sure.

    • Whenever you're in op shops or elsewhere, just try the shoes on,
just to start getting a sense of what different sizes feel like,
      from different brands / manufacturers.

You'll get an idea of over time, what is suitable for you
      and help with buying shoes.

  • Wow. About 1100 clicks and on the website it says 1400 have viewed this item today. That number will keep climbing….

    • 1616 views now for 40 upvotes.

  • thanks op ordered 3 shoes

      • click on the US and u can pick womens uk/us and mens uk/us

        • Men US 11 and Women US 11 are not the same size. There is no way to tell whether they will send men or women sizes.

The shoe doesn’t feature in men or women section.

maybe you should post a 4th comment about it

Great shoes for rock fishing or rock hopping

  • They are cheap for a reason, will pass as I really don’t like the design. Thanks for posting tho

Are these still popular? They were the rage over ten years ago and the quality was crap back then

    • Still the rage with suburban gangstas.

  • Holy…US size 16 lol. I thought I was capping it at size 13

  • So if the receipt doesn't say men's you've ordered women's size?

    • That’s what I understand. Made that mistake myself and then placed a duplicate.

      • Oops, I've done the same. Any easier way to cancel than to email support?

  • +1

White is the new black! They get dirty very quick! Besides that these are the worst shoes I ever had. Better cancel if you have ordered these. They are uncomfortable, break quickly apart and are not supporting your feet and especially the arch not very well. Might be alright for city teens who wear them for a short time and dispose them in a month. I find it funny that everyone here is focused on if they are men or women size. It is a cheap shoe what is not worth buying.

    • Not even for supermarket runs?

      • +1

Better than bare feet but that's about it!

    • agree, they are good beginner shoe for climbing, canyoning aso. but not for regular walking.

      • Used to use these for canyoning back in the day (30 years ago!). Roofers still like them cause they have excellent grip

        • I loved playing basketball in them (RIP ankle support) because of that very reason… the grip on the OG (pre international) models was insane

  • Funny thing about Dunlop Volleys. I bought two pair must have been 12 years ago. The first pair wore out within a year as they usually do, with my big toe poking out. The second pair I've only used while riding exercise bikes, which I do regularly, and I'm still using them.

And they don't smell at all, believe it or not.

Looks like they are OOS now

    • Yep - OOS, just as I checked my size from an old beat-up I use for mowing and gardening!

I certainly would not pay $50 for these - as you see on many sites

  • Been wearing Volleys for 50 years. The Heritage model is much better quality than the International - lasts longer.

    • Is the heritage model still being sold?

  • Back to the future !!

  • You too can take the look of being a prisoner in an Aussie mens prison for the low low price.

  • Used to wear these like 10-15 years ago.. they were around $20. Wouldn't pay more than that, especially if the quality has dropped

  • +1

Didn't these use to be at Kmart for like $10?

  • +1

they get holes in them quicker these days

  • +1

Growing up in the 80s and 90s and you ask your dad for a pair of Nike's and he says he'll get you a pair of volleys.

    Ordered 2 11US and got 9 y 3US… WTF??? :/

  • Ugh they sent me women's 14 not men's 14. This company is dogwater forreal.

    • What's worse is I contacted the support to confirm sizing and they told me US 11 mens but they still sent US 11 women's.

      • I contacted them before shipping to double check and they never replied. 🤷‍♂️

        • Now they want me to return as a change of mind return making me lose shipping costs both ways for their mistake. Thank god I paid with PayPal.

          • @DOGGYWOWWOW: They asked me to provide pictures of the boxes and shoe tongue showing sizing, I threw in original purchase receipt showing the ordered size.

It'll be pretty hard for them to justify a 'change of mind' charge when the original receipt shows I ordered something completely different than what I received.

            • @monky: Same shit happened to me - how are you going about getting a refund? I queried and they sent me a snip of a confirmation which apparently it was US womens, but it's different to the confirmation email I received at the time which didn't indicate if it was mens or womens. Wondering if it's not worth trying to deal with a mob that would stoop that low and just to a cc chargeback?

              • @jaypee06: Idk they haven't replied after I sent my receipts and the photos they requested. But that was midday on a Friday so I'm not expecting them to get back to me over the weekend. I'll update if anything happens though.

                • @monky: They don't stock Volley any more so they can't send a replacement: Insist I purchased the wrong sizing even though my receipt says otherwise.

They asked me to send them a photo of the shoes slashed and they'd process my refund sans shipping costs, as they don't take responsibility for the misleading sizing options (can't prove this anyway, since they took the web page down for the item)

I'm just going to give the shoes to goodwill and file a general complaint with the ACCC, too tired to deal with their wasteful practices.

  • Sent women’s size , when order email clearly says only one size (which by default on Side of box is mens
