Got an ad on Facebook to provide feedback with Scoot to get a $10 discount reward. The promo code provided appears to be generic.

I've tried applying the promo code when searching for flights at flyscoot.com and it applies for both legs on a return booking.

    Scoot is a budget airline and expect low discounts.

      Some of their fares are lower than $100, so I gues $10 off 'per leg' might be substantial? That said, they are currently a pretty crap airline, comparatively speaking. I arrived alive both times I used them … but that's as good an endorsement as I can give.

        I mean, I don't disagree with you.

        One can't expect a major discount on a budget airline. I flew with scoot twice myself and I had a really really good experience, I booked more leg room seat, I prepared myself with entertainment on my phone and purchased a phone stand to put on the food tray. The checkout process was fine online, I literally have nothing bad to say, my fights were on time as well.

        I don't know why, but I got a $7 voucher to use before the flight, no reason why I got it, I thought it was a scam email, but I used the code and it worked and that paid for a nice little snack in-flight.

        Based on their on time flight stats, they are doing way better than Jetstar and Qantas.

        Also I travelled with onboard luggage only and their 10kg is amazing vs 7kg with all other airlines.

          @hasher22: I would like further information/a 'screen-shot' re the $7 voucher for onboard food. This is something that would strongly appeal to a potential market of many thousands (i.e., 'OzBargainers') …

      Same. Booked return ticket from Melbourne to Singapore, the code wasn't rejected but it also wasn't reducing the price.
