    Are these really that much of a risk? I have one and want to feel safe when using whilst travelling in July. Or is everyone just having a go at the brand?

      I bought from the last deal. It's so badly made that the two connecting plastic halves aren't actually connected. Which reminds me I need to drop it off for the Amazon return! My Heymix chargers have been great so far…

        Going by rating or votes doesn't mean much.

        Take the powerboard or example -

        The seller must be aware. There is even feedback showing that users contacted the seller. Yet here we are 4 months later with the incorrectly wired board still for sale. 4 days ago there is feedback with a photo showing the issue.

        Way too many users are happy viewing their devices (especially those from unknown manufacturers) as a blackbox.

        I thought it looks like an actual toaster with weird holes lol but yeah, they can be overloaded and be little fire bricks if used incorrectly

    I just bought one recently for overseas travel. No issues charging my phones, iPad, and ear phones at airport and really convenient. Unit was cool all the time and did not catch fire. Did not use is as an adaptor. Charger works with 110/240V but adaptor has no convertor so do not plug 240v appliance in 110V outlet or it will catch fire!!
