      Ah… I see you completely ignored the Bluray part of my comment (1080p). I am fully aware that DVD is 720 x 480p.
      My point was that surely in 2023 people can be doing a little better than a 23" FHD 2nd hand monitor for $100?

      Brand new full warranty, slightly bigger @ 24", better refresh, sold by Amazon themselves so returns are dead easy. Free shipping and gets to you on Monday. If you really want to settle for FHD, that would be a far better option I reckon.

        VA vs IPS, not comparable really.

        But i too would still prefer getting a brand new monitor rather than a 2nd hand at this price

          @meong: I'm not going to get into the VA vs IPS thing… but just quickly at this price point and res you're going to notice the better contrast of a VA panel over the IPS clarity at 1080p. But this has been argued over and over for years, and its horses for courses. I actually much prefer looking at VA because the blacks are black- not gray, and viewing angles mean jack to me because its just me sitting dead center in front of the monitor.

          But yes, for $48 more I'd go brand new in an instant at this price point.

            Regardless our 'religion' 😅 we can still get a our favourite panel type brand new for a little more.

          That's funny. Most people would pick VA as the better option in a blind test, due to better blacks.

      Yeh all good, had to pm rep here as it was a week without any shipping confirmation. But once rep got message it was sent out that day. The monitor arrived all good no problems.
