Excludes: most of the geographical continent.

Should just read: Metro capitals only.

    • +3

I’ve almost added the word boozebud to my ad filter to be honest. They email me deals regularly that exclude me - and as a previous customer they know where I live.

  • +2

    Does this taste like shit?

    • +1

What next, coffee flavoured beer? Oh wait….

(Not knocking either - whatever floats your boat).

      • +1

        coffee flavoured jagermeister

      • I do enjoy Pirate Life's coffee porter

    • +6

Not by the time you reach the bottom 😂

      • Or definitely by the time you reach the bottom.. 😅

    • +5

I hate it but if someone hands me a shot I am obligated to down it.

    • +6

It's a sweet cinnamon flavour. I like it.

    • +6

If you haven't had 30ml of Fireball, don't start with 5250ml. It's a sickly sweet watered down 33% cinnamon flavoured whisky. Sugar content makes that keg a big barrel of hurt for anyone treating it like actual whisky.

Spread out over a large group or function it'd go down a treat though at just $1.30 per shot! It is popular during the Winter because of its warming effect, hence the name.

Personally I'd try adding it to a hot cup of mulled wine or cider with real cinnamon.

      • +2

Yup unless you've got 10 mates to spread the pain don't even try.

I'm a whiskey drinker and 5 shots of this was like pulling nails.

It's probably fine as a one/two sorta thing but smashing it all night?? Oooh hell no

      • +1

+1 to the hot drink recommendation. This stuff goes very well in mulled wine, hot cider, hot blackcurrant, and even just black tea. Can’t drink it straight personally unless I’m already beyond tasting things.

I love cinnamon so I like this very much but I don't drink it neat. I make my own whiskey cocktail with JW Black Label, JW Double Black, Drambuie, Fireball and a splash of Cointreau. Over ice this is my drink of choice - really a Rusty Nail on steroids. The Black Label and Double Black balances the sweetness. I also like to mix fireball with Bailey's for a quick nightcap but this is a pretty sweet mix. I go through a 1L bottle in about two weeks… so this deal is tempting.

      • Ok that sounds delish. Is that 1:1:1:1:1?
Added all to my shopping list.

        • Pretty much, but you can play around with the mix a bit depending on what you like. If you like it less sweet, add more JW Black Label, if you prefer more smokiness, add more Double Black, if you like more cinnamon add more Fireball, etc. I mix a big batch and keep it in a whisky decanter.

          • @pierrejb: I have some left over JW Blue. Maybe a substitute for ice?

    • It's what young people drink because it's cheap, right? So of course it does.

    • 17seconds in: "and a hint of cinnamon".

      Don't believe anything after that.

    • Two five minute ads, holy shit batman time to update my ad block list.

Need one of these but for coffee Patron.

  • +6

I like it but only in a shot spaced months apart.

    • +1

Agreed, it’s good when you have 1 maybe 2 in a session. Thats a 20 year supply

  • too sweet!

i got a few wild turkey 700ml for $30 each c&c from liquorland factoring in flybuys + cashback recently…

This is actually a good deal considering $21 minimum in alcohol tax alone for 750ml of Fireball.

This works out to be about $17/750ml minus alcohol tax, which is on par with sales in Wyoming US ($1/gal alcohol - ours is $95/litre).

But I’d never drink this all in my life.

    • 750ml?

    • A 1L bottle lasts me about a month … so this is about 5 months supply for me. I have a 30ml nightcap every night before going to sleep.

      • Nightcap of fireball? Man I couldn't imagine the heart burn let alone the sugar that comes with that

        • All good in moderation. 30ml does not give me heartburn and I don’t have a lot of sugar in the rest of my diet.

    • $97.90 per litre of 100% alcohol, this is 33% so $24.23025 tax per 750mL?

I'll let ChatGPT check my math, I think I introduced some precision that doesn't exist with my five decimal points:

To calculate the tax on a 750mL bottle of 33% alcohol, we first need to find out how much alcohol is present in the bottle.

Since the bottle contains 33% alcohol, we can calculate the volume of pure alcohol in the bottle as follows:

      Volume of pure alcohol = 33% * 750mL = 247.5mL

Now we can use the given alcohol tax rate to calculate the tax on this amount of pure alcohol:

Tax on 1000mL of pure alcohol = $97.90
      Tax on 1mL of pure alcohol = $97.90 / 1000 = $0.0979

Therefore, the tax on 247.5mL of pure alcohol is:

      Tax on 247.5mL of pure alcohol = 247.5mL * $0.0979/mL = $24.23

So the tax on a 750mL bottle of 33% alcohol would be $24.23.

      • Assuming your calcs are correct, then the tax paid on this 5.25L keg would be $169.61

        • ChatGPT has been off recently. But it sounds about right. Presumably the tax on this is indeed $169.61, leaving just $61.96 after eBay Plus discount. 10% GST brings it down to $40.91. I guess eBay fees are on top of that but I'm not looking up what they would be. Than postage fees. So assuming they are paying the alcohol excise properly then they aren't really making much money off this. Maybe the cost of warehousing it is motivating them to get rid of them asap.

  • SSSSSSMOKIN!!!!

  • Add Fireball to the Apple Cider of your choice for a fantastic Apple Pie tasting way to a head ache.

  • +1

I would, but then I'd have 5L of Fireball.

  • I found the price of pre mixed rum increased a lot such as Bunderbug rum. I like Rum with coke. Do you have any other recommendations for mixed rum?

    • Buy Bundy rum and mix it yourself with coke? Much cheaper than buying the premix

  • This is a crime.

  • +1

Aha damn…already bought the 3.5L goonbag from CostCo deal! Goonbag was cheaper, but I actually would have preferred the keg, for novelty factor! lol

    Do I need 8.75L of Fireball…?

    • ….Yes

  • EXACTLY what I was looking for!

How else am I supposed to pour myself 3 shots of mouthburn at a single time?
