Good router - still a little high at that price - for me always.

Keeping the RT-AC68U going, connected an aimesh RP-AC1900 recently and it's vastly improved my network

This is my story. Can’t quite justify moving away from ol’ faithful.

You forgot the $50 cash back from Asus and also the 1.8% return from ShopBack.

Should bring it down to around $353.

    • No 68U there.

      • Thanks for noticing that. Very strange Ausu don't include the 68U in the cashback? I wonder why?

Also, why would someone downvote this comment? Probably pushed "-" instead of "+" I guess?

Apparently they’re 10 years old now.

  • There's a very strange cashback

You have to already own an Asus router and then if you buy another one you get some cash back.
    Like, why so convoluted?

    • I wonder if they are trying to retain people and introduce them to Ai Mesh rather than see them sell what they have and purchase a new mesh setup.

      Just guessing there though.

From what I gather, Ai Mesh is pretty good if you can connect the first node via backbone cabling rather than WiFi.

How do they prove existing router? You can't force them to have a receipt for x years ago…

        Anyone done the cashback?

Why doesn't the "go to deal" button go to eBay if this is an eBay deal?

    • +1

      Should not have said eBay.

  • The discount code doesn't seem to be working anymore.
