It's been announced, owners of the Desktop Dungeons will get the new game Desktop Dungeons Rewind for Free on release date on the 18th of April.
So check if you already own Desktop Dungeons to grab your freebie in a couple of days.

      Update: Unfortunately this free version doesn't grant you Rewind for free, it was mistimed and was supposed to occur on release of Rewind

      Welp, I botched this by being greedy:

      • Bought this at $5 so I could get Rewind for 'free'.
      • Seen the original became free shortly after, so I refunded my $5 copy and re-added to my account for free.
      • Lost my chance at getting Rewind update, which is all I was interested in.

      Oh well, lesson learned. I'll just have to avoid thinking about it until I see Rewind for $5 or less somewhere.

        There was a confusion and mistake from them. I thought that both could be grabbed for free. But sadly that's not the case.

            @tbone74: This deal it's still available. Whoever bought the Desktop Dungeons, they still get the newly released Desktop Dungeons Unwind for free

              @Scrooge McDeal: Ok I think I get it now. If somebody bought Desktop Dungeons (ie. paid for it) they get Desktop Dungeons Unwind for free. If somebody took the free offer for Desktop Dungeons then they don't also get Unwind for free.

                    @MiscOzB: Why not? It's still a freebie but with the requirement of the purchase of the Desktop Dungeons. Anyhow it doesn't matter.

  Honestly a bit surprised I haven't accumulated this game somehow. I guess I joined Humble a bit late. It sounds like something I'd really like but I don't even play the games I have now. Probably wait for the new version to appear in a bundle…
