$3 Bonus Promo Terms - read carefully as it will save a lot of questions:

  1. To be eligible for the $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on this page, then purchase an Amazon gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) via the Gift Card Page on Cashrewards (link is on the activation page).
  2. After activation, gift card purchase must be made by 4pm AEST 20/04/2023. Bonus will decline if purchase is made after 4pm AEST.
  3. Activations are capped at 3000. Once activation limit is reached, you can still purchase until 4pm AEDT (provided you first activated the bonus).
  4. Bonus is eligible on purchase of an Amazon gift card of $30 denomination (or higher) in a single transaction.
  5. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of the associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised cashback rate which still applies to the transaction.
  7. Gift card purchases through the Gift Card Page are available only via desktop or mobile browsers. They are not available via the Cashrewards App.
  8. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.

    These seem a way to test any new functionality, 2 months ago it was the the new payment system and it glitched for some, today it is the sign issue. :/

    Three different browsers and the same issue for two accounts, my wife’s and mine.

    anyone with sign in issues, try selecting fogotten your password and reset it with the same password. Worked for me and was able to log in.

    Password reset fixed login issue for me.

  • I have noticed the login problem in recent times. The way it worked for me is to use forgotten password to reset it (same password or a new one doesn't matter).

    Just a guess, may be the user directory is distributed, sometimes the login request goes to an out of date node and become sticky. By resetting the password, it triggers a refresh to all nodes.

    Guys, the tech team is still trying to identify and resolve the issue. As a short term workaround, you can login by requesting a password reset via the link on the login page. Then from the email you receive, simply change to the same password as previous and you should be good to go. Again, all I can do is apologise. This is causing me a lot more stress than you can imagine. I'll keep you updated.

          A hacker about 3 weeks ago withdraw 1 lot of $199.99 from my bank to PayPal ac . I didn't notice that one . About 1 week ago they withdraw 6 X $199.99 again . I noticed it and all was shut down and passwords were changed. ANZ charged me 6 X $6 for reversal fees to make me feel better :)

            Not sure what this has to do with this situation though

            As per another poster below, looks like Firefox has updated so that it blocks a window embedded in another from finalising a payment.

            Fix appears to be to try another browser.

            Can also now login to CR from any device, so the problem everyone was having seems to be fixed.

          • @lostgoat: Re PayPal I noticed hacker had put in a 2nd Email address which i promptly canned and reset password.

      From my last experience with rejected payments using multiple cards, $30 pending refunds took 1 day (credit card) to 1.5 weeks (debit card). Another debit card took 1 week for the refund

    Not impressed with true rewards - page keeps telling me "Oops, Something went wrong. Please try again", but payments have been deducted from my account. True rewards customer service is less than helpful, telling me they can't find my purchase but somehow was able to tell me the payments were rejected and will be refunded. Blatantly untrue because rejection occurs at the bank and not the merchant, and because funds have been deducted.

    Page will also happily accept Amex cards but tell you after you've submitted the card that Amex isn't accepted.

    Just flagging that I've been getting an issue last two times I've tried to jump on this deal. It seems to add a bank 2FA step with SMS code but when I enter the code in, there's a pop up that says it will take me to a new page and I end up at the truerewards home page. No money deducted. I'm using Firefox on Android.

    Both times I've just given up as it's not worth persevering.

      I believe Firefox and TR don't get on. Please try via Chrome on Android.

      • I did use Firefox, successfully purchase gift card and I can see it tracked under "My reward".
        But I didn't receive any "Your cashback has been tracked" email.

    Payment rejected but still “pending”, no voucher.

      I just realised that I have a few pending $30 payments on my bank transaction… Hopefully they don't take my money because the payment failed.

    I've now got 4x $30 payment pending on my credit card - silly me keeps trying after the "oops something wrong" message.

    Will these "pending" payments go away or will I have to go through the hassle of doing chargebacks?

    • They will go away eventually, between 1 day to 1.5 weeks. I had several $30 pending on 3 cards with different banks last time.

    • Should be cancelled in a day or two.
