How does PS5 measure speed? Sustained or instant? Because it's only the dram that's running at 7GB/s, so when the cache is used then I'm guessing it'd be slow

And I presume the old limit of 2tb from the PS4 days no longer applies?

  I don't think that's true, check the review I linked below. It's got an SLC cache like most drives, and its performance once that cache is exhausted is actually quite good.
