        In the past was shipped from CN or AU. This one seems to be in the US.
        But one of the main differences between them is the brushless motor. Not sure about the rest.

  These are great little cars and FAST. I wouldn't recommend for younger kids (unless you need to justify purchase!!) Personally I would order a spare set of shocks/front shocks. The front end is not the strongest so if you hit something, which you will. You end up bending the shock tower etc. If you search around there is probably some good solutions for this. Anyway great bang for buck on a RTR. Plenty of youtibe reviews.
