The $56 wired g502 posted on ozb got me hunting for a wireless version

They are also selling the Logitech PowerPlay Wireless Charging System for $119 with the same coupon code, which I think is steller.

      Like. USB? Micro-b for charging.

      • Thanks! I wasn't sure if it uses Micro-USB or USB-C.

Great price! Still my favourite mouse…

Shame about the double click issues of this model…and other models pre current gen. I believe the newer X models have supposedly solved this issue..

My G900 double clicked. G903 did it. G502 Wireless did it. All justttt outside their warranty conveniently. Ended up buying 2 G305s for a total of sub 100 (including lighter lightium batteries), so whenever the first double clicks I'll use the next! Still on the first lithium battery over 6 months later!

Sick of spending 100+ for a good mouse! (am a wireless mouse user so doesn't help).

    • I did changed my mechanical switches to a different one and never look back.
      Best thing ever.

Yeah I actually have some kahil switches lying around in wait but I don't actually own a soldering iron/never used one and the project ended up in the too hard basket lol.

        • I think it’s not too late to try and do it 🫣 watch few YouTube’s video and you’ll be good to go 😛

    • I believe the newer X models have supposedly solved this issue..

Yeah, X models are optical switches iirc which can't really suffer from double click since that's more of a mechanical switch issue. Downside being they don't really sound that great when being clicked.

Remember that this still has MICRO-USB for a $115 mouse, with a weird charging location which means a lot of cables wouldn't fit properly to charge. I’ve used one heavily for about 3 years though, including being shoved in a bag without any protection. No double click issues just yet.

    • Yeah, a lot of logitech mouses still use micro usb. Same thing with my ergo ball mouse, but lucky I have a couple of cables that fit. Strange decision! It has to be Ukraine war related…

It makes the PowerPlay charging mat more appealing

  • My old G502 started developing issues with the left click; not double-click, it's like the single clicks often become click-and-drag. Thankfully I was lucky with the warranty and Logitech replaced it with a new one without much hassle.

  • Still using a 4 year old G703 which is still as good as new. Tempted to grab this though, as I like the idea of extra buttons for games like "Ready or Not", that have quite a few functions.

  • I've been using the same 903 for years. I had the dreaded double click issue but a quick order from AliExpress (and incredibly slow shipping), 15 mins of DIY & my mouse was working right as rain again.

  • PS: An alternative to the Logitech PowerPlay Mat, is this Qi Charging Puck, which you allow you to use any Qi Charger to charge the mouse.
