  • After Tidal screwed up with MQA, I need Amazon as that's the only streaming service that shows up as 24bit on my AVR. I am seriously considering prime now to keep this service going.

    • i dont support tidal but they are soon adding normal lossless files as an option. how many streaming service have you tried? it could be the playback device thats the problem

      • I am using Tidal for HiFi PLUS for desktop listening. I used Spotify, they have the great library and Playlists, but it's not high res. Then I only tried Amazon, it's playing high res on my Marantz SR7011 AVR.

Thats all. I am keeping Tidal a few more months to see if they start FLAC high res.

Amazon will be my goto if they don't. Problem with Amazon is, DAC exclusive mode doesn't work. No high res detected on DAC.

        • apple music and qobuz could be other options. but i think amazon would work for you

          • @HaydosK: I'll try Qobuz, I have heerd great thing from a friend. I also have YouTube music but it's not high res.

            • @sqheaven: you could also try Deezer. it's not "hi res" but it's still cd quality lossless. I don't think its possible to tell the difference between cd quality and hi res

  • How long does it take for the code to arrive?

    • It's not a code, it's an activation link, came within 5 minutes for me

      • I didn’t read the part about new subscribers only so it didn’t work. I can’t be bothered making a new account. I wish it was a code and I could have given it away.

        • Beggers can't be choosers lol
