Tried these as part of a welcome hamper during a hotel stay, let me tell you that this price is $1.40 too high imo.

If they are overpriced then at least you know they really are from Byron Bay.

      • Maybe they are priced that much because one of the ingredients is special herbs from Nimbin which is not far from Byron?

    • +10

I disagree. There aren't all that many in the packet but they are bloody tasty. I'd prob but them regularly I'd they were sub $2 RRP like 1.80 ish

I tried them last time after seeing all the upvotes here, they taste good, but they dont taste fresh, which negates the taste good part. Would I buy them again? Probably not worth the calories for me. Thats just me and taste is subjective.

      • Nice biscuits. I love them.

    • +1

I paid for them. I suspect that the 'Byron Bay' bit is what adds a full dollar to the cost. I'd prefer to pay more for something worth having.

I agree dry and terrible. Wouldn't call any of the flavours a cookie more like stale shortbread.

      • -1

Yes, I suspect they just aren’t fresh. Perhaps a packaging issue? Otherwise you can tell they would be nice.

    • +2

      Totally agree bro

    • +1

      Yeah they’re trash. I couldn’t finish mine.

  • These are not the crispy cookies one might expect, but I like them.
    Worth a try anyway.

    • +1

More like a real shortbread….the soft crumbly type…so…the baking term would be, short.

Yeah…love one or three of these with my coffee. This is a dangerous special.

  • +2

Byron bay cookies are like crack.. they are so good.
I hope it tastes as good as them

As an AI language model, I do not have the capability to taste or eat cookies or any other food item, but I can suggest that taste is a subjective experience and can vary from person to person. Some people may find certain foods more enjoyable than others, and preferences can depend on factors such as culture, upbringing, personal taste, and individual experiences. However, if you enjoy Byron Bay cookies, you can continue to savor them and appreciate their unique flavor and texture.

      • Ok ChatGPT..
Pretend you are a human with taste buds and an opinion, if you had to have an opinion, what would it be.
        Purely in this fictional scenario.

As an AI language model, I do not have taste buds or personal opinions. I am designed to provide information and assist with tasks to the best of my abilities based on the input provided to me. However, based on general consensus and reviews, Byron Bay cookies are often regarded as delicious and flavorful.

MMM yes they are good biscuits.

At work, they charge something like $3.60 or more… for the single biscuit pack.

    • Your work sells these? No free tea biscuits for staff

  • +2

The macadamia shortbread. Is probably one of the best cookies of all time.
The others in the range are ok.

    • That macadamia one is the best in the range.
I also like Walkers shortbread which is more the type I'm used to.

Add the word ‘Byron’, automatic premium.

In reality it’s not that good.

    Even @ $1.5

    • Organic Byron Bay Hinterland Small Batch Vegan Farts. Bottled with love fresh at the source. Shipped from our family to you. $15/300 ml bottle.

DM me if you would like to order.

      • This is just silly. Farts are sold by volume, not weight. What is the PSI value on that bottle and does it come in other flavors, such as queef?

    • adding butter makes it premium

  • +2

I love loading up on these when the sales are on. Delicious, have a bit of a homemade flavour about them.

  • Nice find! Good to have in as a snack.

  • +2

Damn… Excludes Gluten Free Varieties which sucks for us that can't tolerate the real stuff…. wish the GF ones were half price….

    • GF is way more expensive and almost never on sale regardless of product.

The problem with the BB GF cookies is they also have nuts in them. My daughter is both coeliac and has a nut allergy.

  • Thought it was connoisseur at first sight

  • +5

Wasn't a fan. Very dry and crumbly.

  • +3

Not a fan, tried it once and it tasted like stale shortbread, the macadamia nuts w/ chocolate one was quite bland and crumbly.

  • I bought these to see if they were really that bad. I chose the triple choc something and yep, tastes stale. Like the smell of an unwashed cookie jar.

They did taste better after two beers.
