      I recently bought a macbook using 4 gift cards. you can either use the card themselves or load them to your apple id balance (easier if you are buying over the phone).

    Is there any "1 transaction per day" limit?

    When buying Apple giftcards at Woolies earlier today, I stupidly allowed checkout staff to split my 10 cards into 5 transactions (2 cards per transaction), then realised only the first transactions would receive the 20x bonus points, losing the chance to get the bonus for the remaining transactions.

      There is nothing in the deal terms and conditions nor the overall Everyday Rewards terms and conditions regarding a transaction limit.

      I also do not recall a recent gift card deal at BIG W where there was ever a transaction limit enforced.

    Hi all! Any help is appreciated!

    I'm looking at buying an Ipad in the next week or so for $550.

    Does this deal mean that I should buy $550 worth of Apple Gift Cards from Big W, then use them at Apple to purchase my Ipad? Is that how I would take advantage of this deal?

    Also, just confirming that this pretty much equals a discount of around 10% which would be credited in Everyday Rewards Dollars?

      Pretty much. You get everyday reward points and you use that at checkout to get discount.

              @SomnusZ: Worked fine for me. I swiped the card (no tap), it asked for a pin, I just entered the last 4 digits of the card. Try another bigw store maybe?

    Does this apply at Woolworths as well as big W? I asked but the staff weren't sure and Didn't want to risk it as I'm after a large amount.

      No, because there is no mention in the deal terms that this deal applies at Woolworths too.

      BIG W and Woolworths are separate businesses (yes, they are owned by the same parent company, but they are still operated separately), and a gift card deal would only be applicable at both stores if it was advertised as such.

    Has anyone had issues with points not being added to your account? I bought gift cards from Bigw when they had this same offer over Easter (offer ended on 12/4/23, purchase made on 11/4) so it’s been over 30 days but points haven’t been credited.
    Any advice on best place to contact to claim the points? Thank you

      The two options that come to mind are:

      • Live chat on the Everyday Rewards website (but please note live chat has limited operating hours).

      • Over the phone at 1300 10 1234 and follow the prompts to be connected to the Everyday Rewards team. (Operating hours are also limited over the phone.)
