This may be a good deal but I just buy brother compatible toners and see no difference in printing quality.

  • Just bought a generic TN2150 for my GF from this ebay seller the other day: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1x-TN2150-TN-2150-Toner-Brother-H…

Arrived within three days and appears to be working perfectly. Only $19.50 including shipping. More than $50 or nearly 75% cheaper than the deal posted (and that doesn't include whatever their postage charges are). No reason to buy genuine. Unless you like wasting money.

Can I neg for this or not? I see that nobody has been negging 123inkets deals so I guess not.

I always buy from Aussie toner. <3

    • The deal posted is cheap if you compare it against other stores which sell the genuine Brother cartridges. DSE has the TN2150 for $110+.

I haven't had the experience of trying non-genuine toner as yet. From what I can tell though, it appears that quality isn't guaranteed with a non-genuine one whereas you should expect the best quality from a genuine one. An example of this is in http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1493383

With regards to the above deal though, it's a shame that the 10% saving is offset by the shipping if you purchase under $90.

EDIT: Had a look on eBay and you can get the TN2150 for $76 delivered anyway, so the above deal might actually work out to be a dollar or two more expensive.
