I purchased one of these from Renewd, very very good laptop. Strongly recommend, they keyboard is very good too, not thinkpad good but good.
The second hand one I got gets around 6 hours battery life from 85% charge as well, although not sure how healthy these batteries are.

Why "early"? Should be good for anybody, except gaming.
Though the 7390 is a bit lighter & better battery life. For primary, I'd go even lighter. ipad?

The only special requirement I had was that one of my kids wanted a screen with stylus.

Is battery refurbished
my dell mini ssd slows down dramatically after 3 years of light use.
Good to compare against a 2018/2019 8th-gen 4-core 13" EliteBook 830 G5 / G6 or 14" EliteBook 840 G5 / G6 or 15" EliteBook 850 G5 / G6 (aka ZBook 14u/15u, systems whose 3yr warranty is expiring and businesses are shifting them. RAM, SSD and battery are all replaceable. Seek one-version older BIOS than in this document if want to Throttlestop undervolt + TDP increase CPU and get +20% more performance. Best ones with 400n 72% sRGB or 700n 72% sRGB 120Hz SureView LCDs rather than basic 250n 45% sRGB. Plenty of them on Facebook marketplace where can negotiate a better deal. Some G6 systems might even still having remaining HP warranty so they can downgrade BIOS and replace battery for you.
I personally prefer the glass smooth touchpad, keyboard layout and more premium aluminium aesthetic on the HP EliteBooks compared to the Dell Latitudes.
Can this be connected to a dock via USB C?
Be warned, these are the model with the bulging battery issue
