Hey guys

COTD have broken up this bundle which was sold for (i believe) the same total price a few weeks back, however now you can buy the individual constituents individually. This is a relatively good price for G9X (from what I've heard they are one of the best gaming mouses available). Also last time these were on sale, QQQ the COTD rep was kind enough to supply us with a discount code… Any chance of that happening again? :)

Next cheapest i could find was at Fluidtek (Guys who own logitechshop) for 79:

The G105 board is also on sale for $29.95. not the best keyboard, but not a bad start if you're just beginning to play PC games as well.

Only problem with this, atleast for me, is that I am not a huge fan of COD, so I had a look and found a few replacement covers sold by some lad on ebay, ill link the three types:

    I have it and it's great. Although at one point right click started to play up but it's fine now.
    and FYI I find grip 2 to be the best. I was using grip 3 at first but later on changed to grip 2 and never changed it back.

    I sent my mouse+keyboard off for warranty last week. I'm thinking of maybe buying these and selling the replacement Logitechshop are sending me. I'm getting sick of my wireless mouse/keyboard.

    In fact, if there's a coupon given to us I definitely will buy it!

    I got these last time. All I can say is the mouse is awesome it's better than the cyber snypa silencer it replaced. As for the keyboard I already have the G19 so I just hooked it up to the Xbox, I have yet to use it but it looks sick with green LEDs sitting next to the Xbox.

    Wow, very cheap. I am trying really hard to justify to myself why i need a new gaming mouse… my Sidewinder X5 is still running strong.

    Cheapest you can get these refurb from ebay is about $60 delivered.

    FYI, for the people following at home: see how COTD have priced the two items separately?

    $29.95 for the G105 is a 37.5%/62.5% split of the total price ($79.90)
    my suggested $27.75 for the G105 was a 38.6%/61.4% split of the total price ($66.75)
    the $35 asking price was a 52.4%/47.6% split of the total price ($66.75)

    just saying…neg away!

        that depends entirely on how you feel about ozbargain/the ozbargain community.

        i would never try to sell at a profit to someone on ozbargain: i would rather share the deal with a fellow ozbargainer, or sell it for a profit somewhere else.

        as it would seem, we disagree, which is fine.

          It isn't profit though, if you bought the two things as a pack and you sell one, you aren't profiting really, you are making back the money on the pack. If you bought something specifically to sell for profit, then you fair enough.
          But this is completely different.

          it is a profit, because you are selling it to reduce your purchase price by charging them more than the effective cost price (that they could have purchased it had they gone in with someone). you are increasing the price of the G105 from the effective cost price to make the G9X cheaper than the effective cost price, by attributing more of the discount to the G9X.

          put it this way: if you and a friend decided to go in together on the bundle, you would have split the cost fairly with a flat discount on both products. if not, then you are not a very good friend, because you are screwing them on the deal to capture more of the discount for yourself. same thing here (exchange friend for "community member").

          edit: i'm not saying that buying a bundle and selling the unwanted item to minimise your cost is a bad thing. of course, it makes complete sense. but do it elsewhere, not in the comments section of ozbargain. this place is for SHARING deals, not trying to gain from other members (in my opinion anyway…feel free to disagree).

          Yeah fair enough. I ended up selling mine but postage was tons more than I estimated, so it was pretty close to your worked out price anyway. Definitely not keen on ripping my favorite internet community off.

        not really overcharged…the difference comes from rounding: they rounded the prices to nicer numbers ($29.95 and $49.95 are a bit "cleaner" than $27.75 and $41).

        but yes, i was 1.1% off…sorry guys! anyone with proof of purchase at $27.75 can apply to me for a refund, aha.
