  • What is so good about this mouse?

    • -3

      I'm curious as well.

I'm very happy with my G305 I got for a 1/3 of the price and can't see the justification to get this.

      It’s light, that’s all

What is so good about this mouse?

      The hype.

    • +4

Mainly the shape and weight for competitive gamers. It's comfortable, has large feet, and is versatile with the powerplay mousepad. I've never charged it since I got powerplay and you can easily attach a magnetic charger. It's just well thought out.

  • Built-in battery > AA/AAA.

    Basically weight.

  • +2

There are other better mouse than this now. For example, the Lamzu Atlantis can be had for $155 at Ausmodshop.

    • Better in what way?

      • I believe it is lighter and better fit (though that would depend on your grip style). The mouse buttons are better (much better clicks and tension). It also sports an integrated battery and lasts long enough (though G Pro X Superlight is still better in this area).

    • Does it come in pink tho

  • Seen too many people suffer the double click issue to think this is a good purchase, even at this price (unless you plan to replace the switches yourself)

    • no double clicks yet but my scroll wheel is acting funky sometimes and googling the issue says I need to clean it. The exposed scroll wheel is kinda dumb but it saves weight idk

      • My scrollwheel went to shit after 8 months of usage. But luckily REP sent over a new one for free

Isn't double click only present in non superligjt variant?

  • +1

    Really good mouse.

Can left click, right click, and scroll with the middle bit. Allows me to "copy" and then "paste" at a click of a button. Well - clicks - of a button.

Watch Optimumtech or Hausgaming aka ones that measure latency etc and this one will be on top along with the Vipers/DAs. This is an older mouse but the sensor is better than more recent sensors.
3395 of Lamzu, x2, aria etc for example suffers from going to mini coma after a couple of secs, which is annoying if you are holding an awp on games like CS.

Theres a good reason why this mouse Still dominates the pro league.

Owns Atlantis, viper, gpx, mz1, 303 shroud and lots more. Not a fanboy just answering why this mouse is worth it. My current main is Superlight.

Also, lots of aftermarket options for skates, grips, charging dock etc

  • Little quality-related personal ancedote for y'all

I purchased a G Pro Wireless (non superlight) in early 2020. Performance wise the mouse is great (low latency, clicks, weight)

However quality is questionable. Within a year the mouse feet had degraded and were peeling. Obviously just a 10$ aliexpress fix for some new pads but still frustrating on a mouse that retailed for $220 at the time of my purchase

As of 9 months ago the battery performance has been quite poor, and something has (profanity) in the firmware, such that I can charge the battery overnight and still have the software telling me im on 9%, only for me to re plug it and charge at +50%.

Also my scroll whell is pretty (profanity) as other people have mentioned

I bought the G pro mech keyboard in the same purchase and i've had several switches fail and the RGB has gone completely out of whack in the same timeframe (3 years)

Saying all this, it's a fantastic mouse and im probably going to buy a superlight when it (hopefully) goes to around that $120 mark they were at late last year.

Logitech quality is a hit or a miss TBH. Some models are okay. Others like my old MX Master 2 had issues from the first month. On the other hand I have a MMO mouse from a not so famous brand (Uletech Venus) that has lasted throughout the life of 3 Logitech mice.

      • wow thats suprising with the MX Master; given it's so well raved about I assumed it would be well built. very true regarding hit or miss
