I've alway been a Morning Fresh guy, then I tried Fairy and never going back *. Same with dishwasher tabs, switched from Finish to Fairy.

Price matching Woolies at $33, cheaper with S&S.

Single bottles: https://www.amazon.com.au/Fairy-Ultra-Concentrate-Dishwashin… thanks @razorite

*I'll try to pre-empt this by saying: please, at the very least, try to make some effort with your comments. I've already seen most of them in my rainbow Crocs post.

  • How does fairy compare with the Aldi one? Can't remember its name off the top of my head but their top range stuff. I know I like it better than Morning Fresh and have been using it for years but I don't think I've ever tried Fairy.

    • +1

I've only tried the Aldi dishwasher tabs and they're ok, but I'd rather just get Fairy when they're 1/2 price.

      • oh sorry, I meant to say dishwashing liquid. It's just me and my daughter in this house, I wash my dishes the old-fashioned way :)

        • +5

ALDI Tandil Ultra is better than this IMHO.

Cheap, effective and stays on the brush/sponge longer before washing off.

          • @Shoocat: Yeah that's the one I use, definitely superior to Morning Fresh and so much cheaper.

          • @Shoocat: How much is it for 800ml? I'll give it a go

            • +1

@rosebank: I think around$1.60 for 450ml? They might have put the price up recently so can't be sure.

              • @Shoocat: Thanks, I'll grab one next time I go.

              • @Shoocat: Grabbed a 450ml for $1.79 today and just used it to clean up a bunch of greasy pots and pans. It's quite good, better than Morning Fresh. Still not sure if it's better than Fairy because I've only used it once, but for the price and availability, I'd buy again for sure. Thanks for the rec

        • You'd save water and energy from heating the water by using your dishwasher btw. For every 100 litres of hot water you use hand washing your dishwasher can use as little as 7 litres. Even if dirty dishes have to sit in the machine for days to get it close to filled they would still probably come out cleaner than your handwashing too. The dishwasher washes every inch of most dishes, whereas you're probably not bothering to wash the handles of your cutlery properly.

          • @AustriaBargain: I still need liquid to scrub stock pots and wash non-dishwasher-safe stuff. Also good for washing hands that are oily from cooking, working on the car etc

I use my dishwasher 99% of the time because f that shit. Sort of relevant 50 Cent tweet.

          • @AustriaBargain: Fair point, I'll give it a go and see. You're right, the reason I don't use it is because it would take days to fill but i'll try it out :)

single 800ml bottles also going for the same ml/$ rate i believe

    • This is the real deal. I don’t need x6 all at once.

    • Thanks, will update

  • How does this compare to the Earth Choice branded Dishwashing Liquid? I've only ever bought that brand to do my dishes…

    • Dunno, never tried that one

    • +3

In my experience, Earth Choice anything is shit.

Might as well wash clothes or dishes in plain water it is so ineffective.

I mostly use the Tandil concentrate "power soak and clean".

That stuff cleans well but isn't as harsh on skin like morning fresh is.

      • Agree on Earth Choice.

    • Earths choice liquid sucks but the dishwasher tabs are great. Choice or canstar rated them highly compared to all the finish products, but they’re cheaper per tab at full price than Finish ones at half price. 20% off at Coles rn

  • How does it compare to the Palmolive range?

    • Better imo

  • +1

I’m not too familiar with Amazon’s subscribe and save thing. I assume that if I buy this deal I will get six squirting Fairys that all come at the same time?

    • +2

It's not Subscribe and Save specific - if you buy 6 pack you will get 6 pack each time.

By the way, single bottles are the same price.

    • +1

      the way you like it…

six squirting Fairys that all come at the same time?

      this is good

  • +1

Fairy is really good. I also like the smell. Quite expensive at full price. I usually buy bulk when it's half price at Woolworths

  • +4

Individual bottles are available also for same unit price of $5.50 ($4.95 S&S & Cancel😀).
