If you're willing to spend $14 more there's the Samsung Evo plus. This is a good price tho

    • The Samsung Evo plus gen 3 would perform better than this gen 4 ??

      • +5

Yes without a doubt, the speeds are faster, tbw higher and it has dram. Is a more reliable.

        • And can't run on PS5 xD

          • @Masticccc: Neither can the drive in this deal

            • @NoshTwin: You need me to share tens of the posts here about NV2 can run on PS5? The read/write requirement is not compulsory, the only must have thing is Gen4

      • Yup, this drive doesn't even max out gen 3.0

    • Agree with getting a Samsung Evo Plus. Have 2 in my Beast Canyon NUC and ordered one for my mrs Phantom Canyon.

  • Picked up one from their Castle Hill store today to start off a Retro ROMs collection. Ordered an Orico enclosure from Amazon.

    • Why would you use an SSD for storing ROMs? Much better to get a larger HDD.

  • Im only storing very selected Gamecube, Wii and Switch ROMs. Don't need a larger SSD.

    • My point is you don’t need a SSD in general.

  • I prefer this form factor with Orico enclosure to the 2.5" SSDs and HDDs. I'd go for even smaller form factor with Micro SD cards, but I lose them very easily!

      Fair enough. Enjoy your games.

  • These have been $65 for around 1 month at a lot of retailers, just FYI to be careful of duplicates
