  • 2 Months Free Binge Standard @ Optus Subhub

I tried to access this deal on my account, but somebody in Russia had already used it.

    • +1

11 million trials redeemed, all a part of the master plan for Russia to have free Binge

      • +2

Correct. Invading the Ukraine was just a diversion…

      • Someone you know with VPN?

  • +8

    Still no 4K streaming!?
    Unforgivable

    • +1

They want people to upgrade to foxtel for that I think

      • +1

You can't watch any HBO content or tv shows in 4k via foxtel. The only way i can see is to maybe buy from Apple.
        Disgraceful

        • Oh really? I thought you could. I used the free trial for Foxtel streaming before. Looked far better than Binge's 1080p

    • +2

Ridiculous for what is an expensive streaming service.

  • +2

SubHub only seems to be worthwhile if youโ€™re putting on multiple services that only bill monthly. For services like Prime and MS365, itโ€™s cheaper to pay annually directly with the providing service. Plus the SubHub interface is rubbish and doesnโ€™t seem fully integrated into the Optus web / app ecosystem.

  • Awesome thanks

  • +3

A free two months worth of Binge still isn't enough to persuade me to sign up for it.

Binge is the Epic Games of Streaming Services.

Must have had a years worth of free subs from various sources.

    • +2

[ - ] It should be free considering the quality of the content.

      • Does Binge have any 4k content?

        • I'm sure you can find this information for yourself.

          • @soda-pop: Personally never used Binge before so a simple yes or no would of been sufficient but thanks for taking the time to add nothing of value twice now.

            • @Abraxsas: I know a troll when I see one. ๐Ÿ˜

              • @soda-pop: Clearly you don't…If i was a troll i would be here every day making stupid comments about random crap i have no interest in. You sound like you've been hurt by Binge when even a freebie is offending you.

                • @Abraxsas: You could have gotten your answer to your original question by now searching online. But here you are wasting your time responding to me.

                  • Out ๐Ÿ˜
  • Thanks OP, can I cancel right away or do I need to set a reminder?

    • yes

      • +1

        Thanks, set a reminder!

  • The Flight Attendant, chaotic but enjoyable

    • 1st season was great, but I couldn't get into the 2nd and only watched a couple of episodes.

  • lmao, the year we had for free ended like a week ago, now it's 14 months for free lol, cheers OP

  • +1

Cheers! Now watching the Last of Us! Wife will watch House of the Dragon and the kids will watch His Dark Materials.

  • Thanks for notifying us of this offer

  • 6 Months Free Prime…i'll take that aswell….Yoink

    • That one has been ongoing for a year now i think, i thought everyone knew about it.

      • Not everyone ;) I've never even heard of the Optus Sub Hub before…

  • +1

Still no 4K when HBO streams in 4K is a joke, even moreso their 1080p looks terrible it should be free!

    • Guess this is why i've never used Binge…It's a crime to watch some of those decent series in anything less than 4k Dolby Atmos and at $16/month that's Hiway robbery. Can't believe i was paying $99+ month for Foxtel once upon a time.

  • +1

I also found 6 free months prime membership. will that add on to my current prime membership that expires next year?

    • That one has been ongoing for a year now i think, i thought everyone knew about it.

      • yeah but will it extend my current membership?

        • +1

No idea sorry, optus customer service may know?

  • What if I have an existing membership? Can I cancel and then renew via Subhub immediately?

    • Think you might need to wait for the current paid period to end with Binge and then renew.

  • gosh sign up and not watch it as theres nothing in 4K - i guess its good for the mobile phone

  • Can you cancel straight away?

  • -1

The only way to get this is you have to be an Optus customer? Im not one, any other freebies for BINGE ?

  • +1

I clicked Add on the offer on SubHub and it had the following T&Cs with the offer ending 16 June 2023. Can anyone else confirm?

    Promotional trial T&Cs:

2 months BINGE Standard is available to BINGE customers who are activating a BINGE account on Optus SubHub for the first time. Not available with any other BINGE offer. Must sign up via Optus SubHub to redeem, not available via third party billing platforms. One redemption per eligible Optus SubHub account holder. Available on Binge Standard only. Offer ends 16 June 2023.

    • I have the same T&Cs except offer ends 7 June. I already activated it, I had Binge before but not via Optus.

    • Looks like it has expired.
