I am about to settle a loan with CBA and was sent by the mobile lender the free NBN offer. I checked and the previous deal expired.

CBA is offering eligible conditionally pre-approved home loan customers (who then find a property and fund $250,000 or more before 30 June 2023 between 31 May 2022 and 31 December 2022) with access to a free nbn plan for three years. The 36 month nbn plan could save eligible home owners over $2,700.

The 50/20 plan is free which is $77pm.
Need to pay the difference to access higher speed plans.

    Yep - the terms say if you close the home loan it will move to a normal charge cycle.

      Someone I know managed to keep the free broadband when they switched banks.
      They got sent a form to fill out saying along the lines of "Sorry to see you go, please fill out this form if you wish to cancel your NBN with More", but they never filled out the form considering their own thought was "Well no I don't want to cancel my FREE NBN if I don't have to!"
      And thus, they still have their free MORE NBN but are with another mortgage lender for their home.

      For my situation Commbank were the only ones to facilitate our loan so it is a great deal for me.
