Was searching for some sunglasses specifically for running/sport and noticed that Sunglass Hut have a sale on a number of brands/models. For Oakley's they have a few at 50% off like the ones posted, which I bought.

Some other notable Oakley examples at 50% off (not an exhaustive list):

Oakley Sutro - Sky Blue / Prizm Sapphire Lens 50% off @ $112.50 https://www.sunglasshut.com/au/oakley/oo9406-888392404817
Oakley EVZero Path - Steel / Prizm Golf Lens 50% off @ $119.50 https://www.sunglasshut.com/au/oakley/oo9313-888392187628
Oakley Drop Point - Matt Black / Grey Standard Lens 50% off @ $97.50 https://www.sunglasshut.com/au/oakley/oo9367-888392276360

All Oakley (Mens? But are probably Unisex) items are here including 30% and 20% off other styles. https://www.sunglasshut.com/au/mens-sunglasses?facet=ads_f70…

Looks like other brands such as Ray-Ban have similar sales.

Women specific models have sales as well.

Enjoy!

  • There’s no way they can do prescription lenses on these is there? Even as an add on?

I’ve been trying for a while, but to take an existing pair and get the lenses replaced with Oakley prescription lenses is $$$ and to get a prescription Oakley pair directly from a store such as OPSM is also $$$.

    • Not sure sorry. I know on the Oakley website its self they tell you which models can take a prescription lens and you can then order them with your prescription that you input yourself. They do have some sales on there but not to the discounting of Sunglass Hut unfortunately.

    • you don't need to get oakley branded lenses but i agree, OPSM charge like a wounded bull, even with their regular 20% off sales

      • Especially when they all come out of the same factory..

        • where do OPSM's lenses come from

          • @tdw: I was referencing the frames - however I suspect a pair of prescription Oakley lenses comes out of the same factory as a pair of Ray Ban prescriptions, etc.

Oakley tend to do prescriptions for twin lens frames, not mono lens frames. You could try SVED Optical in the USA, they do prescription inserts for a heap of brands but you'll pay more than the glasses themselves.

Thanks OP! Picked up a new set of fives squared for half price

  • Can I make good use of the Private Health insurance?

    • I believe that's only for prescription lenses, which isn't Sunglass Hut.

    15% back @ cashrewards too.

  • Related.. anyone know where can you get new polarised lenses added to existing frame? Nothing wrong with the frame, but after several years the laminating is now coming off the lenses

  • How deep are your pockets? e.g.Maui Jim and Tonic do polarised lenses but the prices are horrendous.

  • Nice sunnies but the removable nose pieces are a bit of a pain. They tend to fall off quite easily. Accidentally left mine in Bunnings and wasn’t too annoyed when I couldn’t find them.

  • Expired? They all seem to be full price for me?

      Seems so.
