About $40 off what you normally pay for a S70A. The good: 4K, HDR, IPS panel, brand name for $310. The not-so-good: no USB-C, no FreeSync, no sound. Whether you want 4K on a 27" display may be good or bad (good for me). I decided to pass due to lack of FreeSync.

      vs not buy and regret

      • Sooooo do we like this monitor or not?

        • +1

          no

          The not-so-good: no USB-C

          • @MelBorn: get a hub? cheaper than getting an IPS UHD Monitor with usbC and much wider range of connections? The screen is really whats it's all about leaving out lack of freesync. Ultimately it'll come down to what the screen is used for?

  • What is freesync for?

  • I am about to buy the Philips 288E2UAE 28" 4K UHD Gaming Monitor for $359. I can use the Back to School Vouchers at mwave. 288E2UAE has freesync, though I don't know if it affects me. It has speakers. No USB-C. has USB hub. Height adjustable.

      It's $329 at JB, Scorptec, etc…

      • Thanks. Save me $30 or so. I am sure it was 449 at jb yesterday.

But be ware that there is a slightly different model 288E2A which is normally cheaper.

      • Jb hi-fi has it online only. That means I cannot use my back to school voucher.

Do they accept in-store order for these products with the vouchers for partial payment?
