550
YIPPEE10

Been keeping an eye out for a deal on this monitor for my WFH setup (as it has 4K, Ethernet, DP daisy-chain, and KVM switch). Use both coupon codes. From memory, the only time it's been cheaper was during the Afterpay day sale earlier this year, where it was around $679.

More than 10 available at the time of this post.

UPDATE 16/05/2023: Expiry date for SHTSAVE5 code extended to 21st May 2023 and back in stock.

Ordered this morning from this seller for Synology 923+ for $811 with two discounts stacked. Shipped pretty fast - arriving tomorrow.

    • Yep, my new monitor is also scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

      • ETA is now Monday, thanks to Australia Post (no fault on the eBay seller's part).

    Dell closed their eBay store

    • +3

      I don’t blame them

    • +2

      Oh. did they? What happened?

      • +8

Probably not happy with feeBay's cut.

        • +2

Wait till you find about amazon's cuts.

Replaced an ancient pair of U2410’s with these recently. Great screens.

They don’t keep my office as warm as the old ones did though.

  • +3

    shit save 5

  • -4

    Needs to be 120Hz -144Hz.

    • For office work?

      • +4

Yes. Scrolling facebook is super annoying at 60hz

  • Anyone know if you can daisy chain 2 of these to a M1/M2 Macbook Pro? Apple silicon with >1 external monitor is a compatibility nightmare.

    • +3

No, Apple crippled base M1 and M2. Furthermore, daisy chain is a Thunderbolt tech. This monitor is USB-C and I doubt it supports USB-C/MST (Apple doesn't bother with nor support MST).

DisplayLink hack is the only option. With such hack, assuming you are willing to pay for the right dock, you can use normal monitors.

PC monitors don't have DisplayLink hub integrated because DisplayLink is a workaround / hacky solution.

    • If you have the 14” or 16” MBP M2 I’m pretty sure you can plug 2 in, but I don’t think you can daisy chain these.

      Apple gotta Apple.

    • This will fix your issues. I battled this issue for ages

No. Apple MacOS does not support MST.

Interestingly, this limitation is in the OS, not the hardware (at least for older Intel Macs). If you run Windows on an Intel Mac, it supports MST.

I don't know if running Windows ARM on an M1 or M2 Mac provides MST support.

Dunno if it will help anyone, but the same code combo can be used to buy 5800x3d. I grabbed one for 485 AUD. There is no auctions with more than 10 available ATM so can't post it as a deal.

Does this have the monitor flicker issue with apple silicon? I got a dell 2722qc hooked up via usb c and it flickers on idle. Tried a whole bunch of fixes and the best solution for me was to turn off True Tone and reduce the sleep time to 1 min.

    • +2

I don't know what this is, but I'm running mine off an M1 Mac Studio, straight out of the thunderbolt ports on the back into the USB-C on the screens (not chained). I also have run one off the HDMI and one off my CalDigit DP output. These combos worked fine.

    • +1

I have one and don't have the issue. Connected via USB-C and secondary via HDMI and both seems fine

  • Nice monitor!
Wish it was a bit larger but one can wait forever.

  • This is cheaper than my company buys with a big global deal behind us, good deal!

  • Bought the P2723QE from RonaRigs and was super happy with the price and service… thought I didn’t want the U model until this post made me realise I’m missing out on KVM! Ah well…

    • +1

When Dell released the P2723QE it made sense, not alot of difference between the two

  • +1

    What is the ethernet for?

    • +1

Internet through the monitor to a connected laptop. Often for enterprise use.

    • +2

It turns it into a semi dock, as you can connect, charge and get downstream connectivity through type-c

  • Having been looking for a deal for this monitor today. Just ordered one. Thanks!

  • Hope some more come in stock

  • Does any software to be installed for KVM to work? I will be using it with my office pc where I can't install any software. Also can this work with P2723QE for a dual monitor setup or I need to have two of these (U2723QE )

  • Not expired. Still $683.14 with YIPPEE10
