UK 10 is normally US 11. Not sure what is meant by your comment? Unless just pointing out that Sizing is US not AU.
edit: i look at their sizing guide and now I understand. It's completely bonkers.

Salomon footwear is measured and shown by the US sizing standard. <- according to site
U.S.sizes are generally one up from AUS/UK sizes….e.g. size 8 AUS/UK is size 9 US…..YMMV of course.
Must depend on brand, most sports brands seem to be eg US/AU 10 would be UK9.
I have seen a few sites put AU+UK together but not so often.
I just stick with their EU43 because brands' US/AU equivalents always seem to vary like you say.
Yeah the EU and JP(length) sizing is the most accurate
AU = UK sizing normally, but always best to check sizing guide and comments before any online purchase.

I previously had a X Ultra Mid 2 GTX Hiking Boot - Men's-Genatiane/Black/Blue-Medium-10 US which lasted me 2 trips to South America and 2 trips to Nepal. Has the same design to this but I'm currently wearing an 11 US sized sneakers. hmmm… do these run smaller? decisions decisions…

Sadly i really need to try these on for size.
I find a lot of these run narrow, and i have holes in my current merrell pair.
Im in same boat.. bought 2 pairs of NB online recently - same model and size… both were nothing like each other.
Got this last time and happy with them. The infamous Solomon narrow fit is not actually that bad, I normally prefer a wide fit and I found by default acsis are a bit too narrow, and even more so in the case of other European brands such as Adidas or puma. But I find the Daintree fit perfectly with a very comfortable snug fit, I use the same size as I use the ascis.
They are super light for hiking boots, excellent for lighter duty day walks, I haven't tried them with heavy multidays backpack so can't say about that, and I am not sure about the durability either. For the price and comfort I would say they are good but, great for day walk or city use during wet days.
One thing to complain about is that sand or water can easily fall in despite of semi high ankle look.I know these are women's but will they fit mens ? is there a difference in sizing guides ?

this is true. ended up buying a different pair with wide fit. not as cheap but fits well
I wear 2E wide fit. I bought half size up fits fine for this specific shoe - and this is with thick socks.
Still prefer my Merrells though
unfortunately I need a pair of size 8.5, which is not an available size. I will go for 9 if some owners tell me it runs small.

As a clearance item I don't think you can return it for change of mind.
Make sure to size up, i would suggest at least half a size up which is what i did. Otherwise, theese are great value.

Just arrived, seem like great quality, slightly more narrow than Merrell's but I ordered a half size up and they fit well enough.
Reminder to double check the sizing guide, always buy UK 10 and think these ended up being US11, UK10.5. Didn't end up being an issue after fitting.
