  • FHD wow

No wonder its on clearance … FHD on anything above 24" is noticeably blurry… I know I wouldn't want to look at it 8+ hours a day

    • Yes at least QHD

29" ultrawide has the same screen realestate as a 24" 16:9. The same.

        True but looks like crap

        • I can't say i agree with that assertion. Looks clear as day at full res to me.

    • Yeah reminds new of the time at work the mechanical eng team lead gave the engineers 32” FHDs, I laughed. Didn’t last long. Takes you back to 640x480 on a 14” CRT.

      2560 x 1080.

Absolutely! It's not going to look good close up. Will be fine at a distance.

[Update] Okay there's a caveat. It's a 96ppi display. So equivalent to a 24" fhd. That will be fine. Back on my … do I get it for the heck of it. 🤣

      • +1 for young Linus- lol.

      FHD on anything above 24"

This is not above 24" though. Vertically it is equivalent to a 24".

Not true, it's a crispy sharp monitor and I checked it at officeworks. Better than any VA screen even better some others ips screen Wh ih i saw there.

Not available online, out of stock in store. But, hey, we've got another model just like it for only $120 more.

  • I currently use a much older Dell U2917W monitor as a primary which looks very similar in specifications to this one save refresh rate and a few other differences.

If it is the same, it is fine for general office work and occasional gaming nothing flash and I not mind buying something similar in the future.

    The price looks great too.

I think though if you can stretch your budget a little bit more I would look at a monitor with a slightly bigger size for ultra wide or brightness as monitor specs have come far in the last several years.

    • I personally find 1080p at 32" acceptable unless you're myopic and need/want to sit super close to the screen. If you prefer size over refresh rate…. to me, I prefer 21:9 because it's two perfect squares (and there's a good reason for it as things move ahead).

Picked one up locally this morning for my son's budget pc I just put together after having a 34inch 1440p ultra wide on my machine. He loves it.
Haven't adjusted a single setting yet but looks good out of the box for vibrant games like Fall Guys.

  • Hi guys it has built in speaker, does that mean I can use it with Google chromcast or APPle TV to watch movies without buying a speaker?

    Thanks.
