I agree the specs don’t look good

  • If you could slot in an ssd or an m2 drive, it might be salvageable, but not sure you can

  • Not possible normally when there is an eMMc installed. Typically soldered in.

  • Why would anybody buy this groogle-locked garbage for this price and not a refurbished laptop and slap Linux on it??? This thing is only running a web browser…

    • It also runs apps

    • I have a high end pc for gaming. I prefer the laptop form over a tablet and I just need something to surf the web while I am watching tv.

Decent deal. Not sure why ozb not a fan of this but rather fond of lenovo duet.

This has proper amd zen 2 cores 4 threads with vega 3 igpu and 8gb ram, instead of mediatek in the duet.

Also worth noting the 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C that supports display / power delivery.

It seems good value if re-categorize to a tablet?

      • Agree. These really are just touchscreen tablets with a (useful) keyboard attached. Specs/price ratio for this unit is quite good.
