    11th gen, pass.

      Given the power consumption and big/little scheduling issues of the 12th and 13th gen, I would rate an 11th gen CPU as a feature, not a drawback.

    8gb ram with 256gb storage, 2 generation old intel CPU, not to mention the 1080p 60hz display. There's probably better options. That $1800 RRP is daylight robbery.

    See Chatgpt's post from a few moments ago, much better buy.

    Theres zero future proofing with 8gb unless youre happy running linux.

  • We are effluent, Kimmy

    If the budget only allows for 11th Gen, get this instead

    If the budget is really tight, get this 10th Gen

    "Snappy" =/= 8gb ram

    Worth about 700 at the most

  • The HP Pavilion Aero with Ryzen 5600U, 13.3" 2560x1600 screen, 512Gb, 8Gb for under $800 was a far better deal than this. I haven't seen them available recently though.

  • older CPU with half the ram and smaller storage and still asking for 1000 bucks is not a bargain.

  • If upgradable to 16gb, this would be an OK daily driver…
