Akko 3084S/3068S Mechanical Keyboard, Wired Shine-through White RGB Hot-Swap CS Jelly Pink $79/$89 Delivered ($0 MEL C&C) @ PCCG

90

Noticed someone commenting in another deal that they'd rather an Akko over Razer (and hot-swap), and thus saw these in PCCG's catalogue. They're quite a bit cheaper than Akko's storefront at the moment. (81 or 85 USD. Aliexpress price seems to drop to about 73 USD sometimes)

3084S: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/58508/akko-3084s-shine-t… $79
3068S: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/58501/akko-3068s-shine-t… $89 Expired

Only the white coloured versions are on sale, the black ones are at their normal pricing with free shipping.

Pros:
People like Akko more than Razer
It's a full Akko keycap set, the rest of the set comes in the box.
The price is so low that it's only marginally more expensive than buying X amount of switches and the keycap set. (Although Akko sell their switches in sets of 45, so you'll have to evaluate the cost of the switches fractionally)

Cons:
These are wired versions
Wireless has been known to go on sale at similar price
Only in white, black is at retail price still
North facing LED
Still a budget board, expect it to be a okay introduction rather than the end-game.
To this day, I still have not managed to get any pop-tarts on sale on Amazon.

  • I thought for a sec it was Kmart's Anko brand…

    • Kmart Anko is a fked up! Their Anko sucks only last for 1 day

  • The PC98B is also on sale. Am about to grab one to take into the office and be that guy.

    • Looks like theres a whole bunch on sale. I have the wired version of this 5075 and its its been a solid KB.

    • There's already an older deal post for that one. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/772321

I wonder how much movement PCCG are even having with parts of their inventory, since I think these have been on sale+free shipping for a while without too much notice.

Yeah, I'll imagine the switches in that one would be uhh… interesting to your co-workers as it'll probably have a higher pitched sound signature, being a full polycarbonate (PC) housing and stem.

      • I think getting AKKO branded stuff from PCCG comes out cheaper than getting them from Aliexpress.

I personally hope they stay this way, they have been my go to place for ASA keycaps.

Am about to grab one to take into the office and be that guy.

      I'm already that guy…

Akko 3068B in the office - I even kept the transparent plastic cover that comes with the packaging to keep the board dust-free when not in use.

      • keep being that guy. show those heathens the way ;)

      • I use two keyboards at work. One is for the phone and one is for the laptop (it's more because I cannot be bothered to play around with the multi-connect feature).

I am sure my desk is a Cyberpunk 2077 meme.

  • Dam it, my alert had me getting out my credit card to pay for more Amazon pop-tarts! (Although my last ones were sent to my girlfriends address, and she ate the chocolate ones, and the other flavour was awful!)

  • I have both of these models, 3084S crazy good bargain!

  • +1

Akko keyboards I found are really good for their price, I use ACR Pro Alice and ACR Pro 75 at home and they've been really nice out of the box.
Not sure whether these would be similar to ACR Pro Alice, but ACR Pro Alice keyboard did come with the entire keycap set which was a nice little touch.

Even if it doesn't, this is at a such a great price.

I will mention that ASA profile (the keycap shape and height) is bit taller than OEM (which a lot of gaming keyboards come in) and Cherry profile.
