Ive tried with multiple cards on a past promotion from this website and all of them got blocked by this.
Anyone know what's going on with the promotion GCE said they'd push out this week? They said last week they'd be doing something (likely to make up for their clusterfk with the BEARS promo).

To be fair, I don't think any of us have any reason to trust everything that associated commenter says, because they did say last week's BEARS code was fake, even though it most certainly was not fake.
I assumed that this was the "something special" promo at first… but yeah, that whole thread became dodgy AF, and like many here, we all could see that the associated reps comments were total BS.

Well Ozbargain crashed their website. What do you expect? After they spend more money fixing the website, they thank you?

I got $500 denomination card in my cart and the discount coupon applied to the whole cart. So you can bypass the cap value of $100.

certainly less than the interest rate p.a. it only sort of worth it if you get to spend it relatively quick.

My card got blocked when trying to pay, same thing happened with the 10% deal the other day. Not worth the hassle dealing with this dodgy site.

Order didn't go through, tried again showing "You cannot use this voucher anymore (usage limit reached)". Fortunately money wasn't taken from my card, otherwise would be an annoying hassle.

I got the same situation (order didn't go through properly) but money WAS taken from my card.
It sucks, maybe see if there will be any confirmation email later or see if the money was temporarily held and would be hopefully released later.
Same here. Can't see the purchase reported on my card, but I'm also acutely aware that a scam site might do exactly that (not put the payment through immediately and then hammer my card a few hours later when I've been distracted by something shiny).

Works if you keep adding $100 cards to your cart then pay with 28 deg. Went thru for $475.

What a joke! Card got blocked and Got a call from ANZ fraud detection team to verify if I had made this purchase. Transaction didn’t go through. Now when I try a different card, says usage limit reached.
My ANZ card has been blocked because this, couldn't finished the transaction.
My card was blocked and I also got a call from my bank's fraud team. Used the chat function on GCE's website and got a personalised 5% off Amazon GC code emailed to me about 15 minutes later. Was able to purchase 3x $100 (after my bank unblocked my card).
All 3 gift cards redeemed without any issues.

I have card blocking issue on my account which didn't work
let my missus registered another account and given error of "This voucher has already been used" although she did not make any purchase whatsoever at all.
