Best price i could find then used officeworks to price beat and i got it for $379.05 for the 44mm to give the whole apple watch thing a try without committing to the series 8 when the series 9 is around the corner.

Yup i already mentioned series 9 is coming soon but going to be min 650 realistically for the base 45mm gps and yes it may be all that and more but if you want bang for buck they aren't releasing a new se this year.
The Se does a lot and for the price I don't think anyone could say its not the best bang for buck apple watch at this price point, yes its still the same chip and yes its got last gen heart rate but I'm testing the waters to see if I even want one and for $379 I can justify it. Especially considering I can sell it for almost that if I don't like it, and if I love it and want the series 9 then cool but I also have a Fenix 6x sapphire and it would need to replace that as a workout watch for it to be worth me spending money on… heck even the ultra is an option but not at this time as its at its mid life point.
why buy now if series 9 almost here?
