Good find. But probably worth waiting for just another 2 weeks to see what apple will launch during WWDC, probably 15 inch air.
If nothing exciting or no discount on current products, you can still get this Air from Apple AOC for $1678.

    • It’s probably worth waiting until Sept to see if the there actually is a 15 MBA coming out unless you need something right now.

Probably worth waiting until September 2039 when they release the M12 Macbook Air Pro Max with holographic screen and 10 day battery

        • Nah, it will be 2 day max battery so they can save 10g and make it 0.5mm thinner

        • It’s fascinating to see you value 2 weeks equal to 16 years.

          • @NoBargainNoLife: Because they don’t understand how awesome having a 15 inch MBA at a lower price point is instead of having to shell out for a 16 inch MBP. I own latter and wound by the M3 version but totally understand why people are so amp’d about the former.

        • With Macs best to wait till release day as you can instantly get the edu discount on a new model. Not rocket science

      • Not in 2 or 3 weeks during WWDC?

        • All those click bait YT channels had us convinced the new M1 pros were coming in WWDC! It’s better to control your expectations now. However, the new iPhone 15 is due in September so maybe they will surprise us

          • @Icecold5000: Yeah that makes sense. That’s why I said initially if it doesn’t come out next month then people can still buy the current M1 air instead if they are in need.
I do hope to see it next month though! The 16inch pro is too heavy and expensive :)

            • @NoBargainNoLife: Hopefully Apple get back to innovating. If the 15 inch actually appears I reckon it was have an inferior screen to the pros but that the compromise I guess. I bright my first MacBook in 2006 and had a Commodore 64 as my first pc so things have come so far.

    • Stack with gift cards from either Coles or WW for further discount - You can get the same model for just over $1,500 counting in the shop credits.

Apple Care Plus can be purchased with gift cards, too, for more saving, as long as you're purchasing the service in-store (need to wait until the 7-day care expires first, also they'll inspect the device visually). Note you must use the gift card itself for AC+, not account credits.

      • Which gift cards we can use for eBay?

        • Apple store. Not eBay
