  • Thanks OP. Needed a set of earbuds.

  • Showed to me "This code cant be applied to your order."

    • Are you an eBay Plus member?

  • I found that the student beans codes are not working for orders above $80

    • It's only the 1 code now and it's eBay's notorious Eligible Items only..
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/766899

Were you trying on the correct item/s? On Desktop?

      • Oops. No i have tried it on my phone :(

  • I'm still deciding how much better is the Pixel buds at $150.

    • Which version of Pixel Buds?

    • Isn't that deal over?

    • +1

I bought the pixel buds pro and had to return them. It kept on falling out of my ears, wind noise was horrendous when cycling with ANC and touch controls only worked some of the time.

I've had my Jabra Elite 65T for a while and very happy with them.

  • Bought some! Thanks OP

  • Damnit I had a price alert set up and they finally went to $100 a few weeks ago so I brought then! I'm already an eBay Plus member too…

Anyway, so far they are amazing value for money. The noise cancelling isn't the strongest, and the case seems to be cheap plastic, but for the price I don't expect those things to be amazing. I ran the program that calibrates them to your ear but I am finding the treble very sharp, particularly S and T sounds in music and podcasts. Might have to just manually set it and drop the treble down.

    • I actually find the noise canceling on these on par with my sony 1000xm3 earbuds. May be go for the higher size silicon tip.

  • +3

oh my god. I paid 110 for these literally last week. SO ANNOYED.

Incredible sounding buds for the price though. You do miss out on some thing like the another poster had said. The case doesn't feel as tough as my old samsung buds, but there has to have been concessions made somewhere, especially when they sound so good.

    • what about battery life ? I mainly use it to listen to Youtube while doing cooking, housework etc, and although the above comment said the noise cancelling is not the best but can it still block out a fair bit of outside noise ?

      • It is great

      • +4

Blocks out a fair bit of noise. Blocks out a lot of noise from my Nutribullet 1000w at 1m range and my vacuum at 1m range.

Battery life is good. With LDAC on and noise cancelling on the battery can drain pretty fast. I mostly stream YouTube videos and Netflix/prime/Disney and YouTube music so I turn off LDAC since those sources aren't lossless and I get 8.5 hours of battery life with noise cancelling on high. Case provides 4-5 full charges.

      • I can't comment on the battery life yet as I've not used them from full to dry in the week I've had them, but when I was researching buds, I remember some content creators saying about 8hours one charge with no noise cancelling, and about 6 hours with.

It is true that my Samsung buds live had a more effective noise cancelling mode, but this isn't too bad. Doesn't matter for me much since I seem to be the only person in the world that doesn't care for noise cancellation (IMO a good fit seal blocks out most annoying frequencies and I don't like completely losing my sense of hearing to the outside world, or the weird pressure feeling when it's on)

  • thanks po, copped one.
Actually have sony WF-100XM4s but they only hold charge for like 30 mins now and discharge on their own really quick so needed something to replace it.
Might look into getting the batteries replaced if anyone does them, but heard good things about the ankers,

  • got one. thanks!

Looks like many of us who were considering this had all bought it during the last deal (myself included). No complains at this price range for sure. Just that as OzBargainer it's disturbing to find a deal 20% cheaper in just couple weeks.

  • +2

I bought these for $130 back in January and they are brilliant. Very worthwhile at this price.

    • strong agree. They're great- good reason they're recommended in Choice review and score higher than models 5x this price

  • Thanks, bought

  • I have the Soundpeats Mini Pro which sound great but battery life isn't great at 4-5 hours with ANC on. Has anyone compared these to the Ankers sound-wise?

  • +1

I regretted missing them for $85, jumped on them within a minute of seeing this post.

I have had an old pair of Soundcore earbuds and this one seems to also be a big upgrade, I can't recommend this brand enough, It sounds just as good as AirPods Pro in my testing.

  • Anyone please tell their experience about the call quality and How is the call quality compare to airpods pro 2?

    • +1

I had the same question about these earbuds some time ago and decided to go for Soundpeats Capsule3 pro instead (slightly cheaper too). But Anker seem to have better ANC and sound quality, so for $80 I'm not sure I made a good choice :-)
You can check some youtube reviews and compare yourself, many of them have microphone recording samples.

Got my misses a set from the last Amazon sale, she sounds fine on calls, they do a good job picking up her voice and silencing all the noise around her when on train/tram.

You will see they block external noise very well, voice quality is good (not awesome, but good). Can hear how liberty 3&4 have better voice clarity, still the a40 are good enough.

Had them for a few months and use them for work calls, people have had no trouble hearing me clearly. Great battery life.

      Thanks guys

  • How do these sound? Sound cancelling is a bonus, but I want a good sounding pair of earbuds.

My OG Samsung galaxy buds have recently began loosing charge. Anyone have experience with these and the Samsung buds?

I have a soundcore portable speaker and after some EQing it sounds great.

    • Yea Im wondering how these would sound too. Would the sound be as good as the wired salnote zero or is that asking too much of wireless? I love my salnote zeros but they are annoying to put on and off quickly when im out and about. I dont care about anc.

      • There's this list. The anker aint on there but might help you.
        https://crinacle.com/guide/tws/

I'll stick with my galaxy buds

        • List was put out before release of the A40s. :)

        • Thanks. I found this too which has wired iems. Couldnt find the salnotes but the site gives me something to work off.

    • I have the Soundcore Life P3 buds and would grab these immediately if those died.

  • Thanks, just bought this to get my first experience of an earbud.
