25% off Sale and Full Priced Items for Military + First Responders + Healthcare Workers in-Store @ Lululemon

154

Reposting as it's been over 12 months since last post and a recent forum question has reminded me.

For those not aware, if you are:

Military - either active, reserve or a veteran and have a veterans card
Emergency Services - police, fire, ambulance, possibly SES if you have a form of identification
Health Care Worker - doctor, nurse, acute care, dentist, support worker etc

You are entitled to a 25% discount off both sale and full price items in store @ Lululemon. Not available online, but given it stacks with discounts in store you can generally get some stuff over half price in their sales. You will need to provide a form of identification to receive the discount.

Reminder that Unidays also gives 15% off. These do not stack.

Happy Dealing!

My dentist is stoked….this gear will look great driving his $200,000 mercedes!

      • +1

lol and his $3m beach house !

  • Why they don't support all emergency workers?

  • +4

    These promos are fkn cringe.

    • +2

It's not really a promo, it's a permanent discount that Lululemon does not advertise.

    Discrimination

    • +1

      lol. is this serious

  • +3

Saw these discounts for emergency workers all the time during the pandemic, bit ironic giving them a discount seeing as they were all employed the whole way through - whilst in a lot of other sectors people had lost their jobs or were on reduced hours.

Most are very well paid too.

Would like to see some discounts for battlers trying to pay rent and feed their families.

      • Due to shift work they hardly ever see their families

        • Their career choice.

          • -2

@jv: Maybe your battlers should have tried harder in school and picked a better paying career…

            • +1

@Pelicannn: Maybe some did not get the opportunity too…

Can battlers trying to pay rent and feed their families afford these hippie brands?

As a veteran that has had a few different civilian jobs since leaving, military service is not like a civilian job. You are never really off-duty, you can be called back whenever they need you, you can be ordered to do stuff you don't want to do and ultimately you might end up on a 2 way shooting range. There is no option to call in sick and there might not be an option to quit and get another job depending on how long you have served. Breaking any of the myriad of rules could land you in jail, confined to the barracks or painting rocks and sweeping roads all weekend instead of going home. Its also the best job I ever had.

You should do an ‘ask me anything’ I think it’d be super interesting (re your experience in the military).

Out of curiosity, what does the bulk of the military do during peacetime?

      • your experience may vary, i think its very cruisy now a days lol.

As a brother to a police officer I would not do their job. All emergency services (police, firies, paramedics) are exposed to lots of trauma that's life long. A nice gesture like this goes a long way…

    First Responders

    Does that include OzBargain commenting?

  • note that you cannot buy for your partners

  • I heard that they don’t allow women to buy men’s clothing, and vice versa, using the discount

    • +3

So they are discriminating against cross-dressers? 😲

  • +2

So how come paid doctors and police are certainly getting this discount but volunteers from SES is only 'possibly' and RFS and Marine Rescue aren't even mentioned? A bit poor

Honestly, I am happy for them. The amount of shit that these guys went through in the past 3 years is stupid. From the healthcare sector in COVID where suicide rates were that dam high as they had to choose who could live based off equipment availability.

I recon it should be expanded to more people in the public service sectors, its right.

highly agree.. huge number of the staff got burnt out and have left the profession.

  • Is this a long running deal? Got denied as AHPRA registered optometrist? They said it was only during COVID?

    • Definitely long running. I have used the deal pre-covid but I admit I haven’t bought anything in the past 12 months.

  • tried at 2 stores in Brisbane for on sale items and they said "only full priced items"

    • Interesting. I managed to get off sale items at Indooroopilly.

      • Maybe! I only tried at the CBD one and Chermside location

  • Still works but not for Pharmacist, Physiotherapist or Psychologist :(
