I got this one from Ikea and have been using the same one from 3 years ago without issues.

    And it's only $2.50

      I use that one too.
      This is for fancier squeegeeing…

      • But you stated you have no idea if it's any good.

So how can you know its fancier if you've never used one before?

        • +2

Just one look and you can say it's fancier. Does work it work better? Maybe, maybe not.

I generally find Oxo stuff to be good quality, better ergonomically, feels better in your hand etc. If it's something that I'll use a lot I generally do pay more for Oxo or similar brands. If I'm only going to use it for a few seconds here and there it's probably not worth it.

It's worth it because if you head to ikea for one then you'd end up spending a lot more money lol

I have had this squeegee for a couple of years and it works very well. I'm a big fan of OXO products in general.

I have used a couple of other squeegees (while at a friend's/staying at an Airbnb etc, I guess petrol station squeegees don't count because they're expected to be dogshit) since owning the OXO, and it made me appreciate how good/effortless the OXO squeegee was.

The clear silicone has turned yellowish, but I think that's unavoidable. Other than that, it's held up perfectly.

May buy a spare now while cheap.

  • This is a good squeegee - better than the Bunnings cheapo one it replaced by a long way

  • This deal seems to be wiped out now :(

Pity, it was cheaper than the Mr Siga version I’ve had on my Wishlist for ages. Ah well, too bad—just won’t be able to clean the shower for a while longer yet I guess.

  • Back up to $20+ :(

  • Kmart has one as well for 2 Aud.

    No metal, lasts about 2-4years

  • Cheers OP - ordered.

FYI - Still $10.95 but 2-4 week lead-time, which is fine by me..

  • I bought this a couple of weeks ago just to get rid of excessive early morning fog on car windows. Its nothing special but it works and small enough to out in the door bin.
