    • Sorry to hear that. My experience has been the opposite, from around 40mbps to now up to 95-105mbps with more reliable connection. Newcastle, NSW, swapped over from Vodafone

  • I contacted ShopBack that my purchase wasn’t tracked after two weeks and now it shows my cashback is tracked at $0????

  • Did anyone receive an invoice from Amaysim? I didn't get one and on live chat right now trying to request for one and they are trying to get me to spend $10 to top up the plan so that a new invoice will generate for me.

    • It wasn't emailed. You need to manually get it from your account details in Amaysim. It was under payments history on their website.

      • My invoice says in big red stamp payment is awaiting payment . Payment will be settled on 22/5.

      • I’m on the same boat. Will it actually work if I buy $2 amaysim sim card from coles/woolies to port out to amaysim tmrw, instead of waiting for the physical sim in the mail?

        • You will loose the cashback from shopback/cashrewards, but if you start a chat with amaysim now they will actually suggest you buy a $2 sim and then do the chat again when you have the sim and they will set it up via chat so it is all on that sim and not on the one that has been "lost in the post" and they will also put a $2 credit on your amaysim balance

          • @Webber000: Thanks, that's ok, I'm not concern about the $7 cashback anymore (only did the $60 plan) as I have to port out today to avoid Belong charging another month. It seems to work according to their CS, but I'm in the process of doing it right now (took 5 mins for the porting, and my Belong is now cancelled but still waiting for the replace Sim on the Amaysim's side to be working at this stage)

          • @Webber000: Why would you use cashback? Terms and conditions say 30 days to activate sim….

            • @fozzie: @fozzie I assume you mean "loose" cashback? Reason is that you aren't activating the sim that they posted you that was on your cashback order - so they won't pay the cashback. Your activating a different sim that you bought for $2 in WW/coles.

              • @Webber000: Mine is esim. So if you use a different sim they won’t out ? That sucks but doesn’t apply to me.

    • 8 days here, and I believe cashrewards t&c specifies activations to be made within 20 days of purchase - which worries me

      No need - I ported from Optus prepaid just now. It wasn't instant, but only took about 30 minutes. Amaysim quote 3hr-3day for a port from Optus during the activation process.

  • Shopback has now changed my tracked cashback to $35. I was going to wait to activate but I’m porting over tomorrow as it’s needs to be within 20 days of purchase. $35 are too juicy to loose.

    • I have got tracking with ShopBack but there is no amount on it

      • Just keep an eye and in case raise dispute. I bought at the beginning when it said $35. Initially tracked $10.50, then changed to $35. Hopefully it will go smoothly.

    Just got off the chat with Amasim. Although the chat was hard to understand as it looked like a translation from another language, I was told the SIM must be activated by June 15. Otherwise, I will be charged the difference between the sale price and the full price - basically double the purchase price.

    • Did you ask if this was only for new numbers or for ports as well?
      Previously they have said ports have until June 30th to activate/port but new numbers have to be June 15th.

      • No, didn't ask as I did not know what you just said. It is very disappointing that no rep has a clear answer.

        • I was told by Amaysim Rep that new numbers activation deadline is 15 June, but porting existing numbers activation deadline is 30 June. Deadline is for activation completion not commencement.

          Although I don't know if these Reps are giving correct T&C as there's no 30 June deadline anywhere on their website for existing ported numbers. Only the 15 June Deadline noted as part of this Easter Promotion.

          • @NDIB: Oh, thanks. I am porting over but mine expires on June 25, so I would not risk losing $60 for just another 10 days.

  • I ordered an eSim on 28/May, and until now there is no email or any post….

    I log into my amaysim account and nothing appears there. There is however a full charge on my credit card, and even cashback has tracked, but i receive nothing.

    Is anyone on the same boat?

    • No email at all? There should have been an email saying your sim was sent. If not you should contact support

      • I always got email from amaysim previously, but this is my first time ordering an eSim from them, and probably last time..

    • I have done it from Vodafone to Amaysim today. Ported in less than 20 minutes.

    Contact amaysim livechat if you need an extension to June 30th for activation date.

  • Switched from Boost mobile (Telstra) to Amaysim (Optus) few days ago, I felt the mobile data speed is noticeable slower.

    Sometimes it didnt even load for few minutes, not sure how is other's experience with Amaysim… I might consider paying bit more to switch back to Boost after the data / 12 months is up.

    $100 for 12 months 180gb is very good deal though. Also must say the port over was pretty seamless and the app was not bad

    ID validation was a nightmare during the porting process (had to do via chat and took 3-4 hours for it to get completed on their end) but no other issues after that. Still great value for money I would say.

    15th June was a deadline for new numbers but for transferring numbers, the validity is 90 days from the purchase.

    • Same here. Have to call cs and they said porting is in process. After 3 hrs, the signal on old SIM was dead so put in new sim in but couldn't call out - can e receive calls. Later, about 5hrs after activated, i can call out. Worst porting process i've experience ever.

    Anyone having problems with their phone voicemail not working using amaysim as a carrier ? It worked when I first joined , now for the past few days it doesn’t go to voicemail ? The phone just rings out. They said they have reset it but still doesn’t work . Reading online it seems to be a patterns of amaysim having issues with voicemails . Did anyone get to fix it or ? All my missed private numbers calling me and I don’t know who it is as voicemail doesn’t work

  • I purchased this plan WITHIN shopback app, at 9:26AM. $35 cashback not tracked

    contacted shopback customer service , submitted invoice as they requested. Just found out my cashback is rejected

    any idea what to do now ?

    • I have got tracking with ShopBack but there is no amount on it. There is suppose to be $35 tracking on it. I have contacted them and showed them invoice and they said they have sent the details to the team.

      • Thanks for the update. My situation is a bit different but not sure why it is rejected

    • Check you followed all the T&C's including that you activated it within the 28 days etc (and theres no reason such as original one went missing in the post so it got resent which could explain issue).
      If your sure you should get it then reply to them and ask them for an explanation - as maybe they have made a mistake.
      Then when they just give a generic reply find @gotyourback on here and send him a PM - he's the rep for shopback and is really good just give him a few days to reply as hes a real human so gets days off to go prime shopping.

      • yes it is activated right after I received the sim(6 days). I asked live chat for explanation but it does not go anywhere just script saying declined because I did not follow cashback rules/requirement.

        Already msg GYB and waiting for him to finish his prime shopping …

      Submitted all info required and still rejected.
      Looks like I’m not the only one that they rejected.
      Thinking twice before doing any big cashback with Shopback, cashreward usually track straightaway, probably should have gone with them.

      Sim was activated within time frame.

      Bought mine when it was tracking $35 early in the morning as well.

    • Both my one and by partner bought via app, neither of us tracked and I've been rejected. Such bullsit given the thousands of dollars that have tracked without problem in the past. How convenient to not work despite being on the click history VIA APP.

      • guess I am not alone! Yes I found that odd WITHIN shopback app the cashback still not tracked and they rejected all $35 claims it seems

      Guess I'll want and see if @gotyourback is still active in this thread before taking any further action with customer service at this stage.

      Based on the pinned comment on page 1, I think any purchases made before 22nd May 14:15 should be eligible for $35 cashback? But the first sentence or so seems to contradict that with use of a coupon code?
