  • OV & f****g H. I needed a psychologist after buying some domain names from these guys. 3 months of support requests and back & forth later I managed to get out. It was more relief than delivering my first born.

    • Hi @dan0909,

Sorry to hear about your experience, is there anything I could really help you with? I would be happy to look into it for you.

      • Where were you for full 8 working days (total 10days) when I raised the ticket? Good try 'damage control' is not customer service.

        • Hello @dan0909,
Some support tickets may take longer than others depending on the nature of the request. You mentioned initially about 3 months then 10days.
You should have received an answer (or at least a confirmation that we are looking after your ticket) shortly after opening it. Could you advise your ticket number for further investigation?

          • @OVHcloud ANZ:

            • days to get a response for a support ticket. Had to raise another ticket to complain about the first ticket. then I was told that I need to raise ticket for each domain I own (by the time I received this reply it was over a month). I spent another 2 months raising tickets for each domain i owned (i owned 43) to get a code to move away. I am sending you a message so you can investigate. As mentioned earlier, I moved away from OVH and am glad I did.
            • @dan0909: Could you please share the ticket number so that we can look into it

  • +2

Ohhh, that is not a good recommendation…….

  • Had several servers with these people and they were running fine for well over a year.
Ordered one of these 'deal' servers prepaid for a year, and after a few days they sent an email stating that they required me to 'verify' myself with more information before it could be setup. I had already spent a good 20 hours setting it up, and they appeared to have deleted it. I politely obliged without highlighting my lost work in hopes they would restore it. Several emails later and I'm still being asked for even more information/ID.
I asked for the order to be cancelled when my two bills for proof of address, then two passports, then two drivers licenses, proof of company directorship, were deemed insufficient. They got to the stage where they wanted my birth certificate! They replied saying my account was disabled for abuse until I finish my identity verification.
Sent through my birth certificate and was simply denied. Never got credit back for both the new server and my existing account balance.
    Absolutely scummy company.
Not worth the time of day. Would be safer to host a server in the kitchen sink.

    • Hi @stinkydog,

I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced. I understand that you were disappointed with the service you received, and I want to assure you that we take your feedback very seriously. Could you please share the ticket numbers so that we could further investigate it.

  • Looking at the history,

    I might skip this deal……
