Been eyeing Bosch deal to get a new dryer. This looks interesting due to the Storecash deal (GoodGuys offer). Would love to know if these dryers are any decent.

agree. have had this for 2 yrs and no complaints apart from the comment above. sheets roll into a ball which is annoying - i open it up mid way to unwrap.
I find if I chuck in some ballast in the form of a towel or something like that, it prevents the ball scenario

I have the Series 8 9KG WTW87564AU Bosch heat pump dryer and can say the tech is fantastic. Doesn't make the room damp like regular dryers and uses very little power. Different model to this one but the tech would be pretty similar I'm sure.
Except that Series 8 is still made in Germany. I have the same model as yours and yes, no issues so far after almost 4 years. I'm itching to get a matching Series 8 washing machine (I put them side by side) but my old one just doesn't want to die yet lol.
I hear you. I waited until I could get both at the same time. My 9KG Dryer sits on top of a 10KG Bosch washing machine. In the past I've had LG and Samsung machines die on me (always just outside of warrantee) so it was getting expensive buying cheap crap. These units are brilliant.
Great brand, afaik no reverse tumble on bosch which may matter to you for sheets
